1981 Porsche 924 Carrera GT VIN WP0ZZZ93ZBN700115 that is original and shows signs of it. This car is in essence a "survivor" with ~72,500KM on it. I purchased this car from the original owner and imported it from Belgium.
By survivor what is meant is that the paint is far from perfect and the following items are what could be addressed to have a good driver:
1) The roof of the car has had a hole drilled in it by the original owner to install a cell phone antenna (yes, VERY retro 80's/90's)
2) The hood is steel and NOT original. I was told when I purchased the car that the original owner took off down a road in Europe without latching the original hood and it pulled/flew off the car. A stock steel 924 hood was modified and hood scoop installed as replacement
3) Front bumper, drivers left bumperette's are missing
4) The original owner had the original e-brake removed and replaced with a hydraulic e-brake so he could power slide the car
5) The interior is all original and shows it. The front and rear seats should be recovered and the drivers side carpet has the typical degradation from where the driver heal rests while driving
6) Wheels should be refinished
The original owner was the project manager in charge of the installation of CAD/CAM at Porsche in 1980/1981 and during the installation and implementation of the software at Porsche he was put on the list of approved buyers for a CGT. Upon completion of the software installation at Porsche and a flawless rollout, Porsche installed a factory GTS aluminum roll cage into the N700115 and was delivered by Porsche President Peter Schutz at the Stuttgart Airport when Jan arrived to hand off the software. The service record indicates that the first oil change was done at Porsche in Stuttgart as well.
