1973 Carrera RS, finished in Grand Prix White with blue Carrera script and wheel centers. Between 1989 and 1990, this 73 RS was stripped to bare chassis and fully restored, while being converted to partial “RS lightweight spec” — including RS lightweight seats, exterior trims, and Glaverbel quarter window glass. In 1991, it was entered in the PCA National Parade Concours and scored 294.40 out of 300 points. Extensive documentation and records are included, dating back to original USA import paperwork in 1985, as well as all restoration records. This RS has been lovingly cared for by only 3 owners since its restoration, the most recent of whom since 2004 (20 years). During his tenure, the car received extensive mechanical servicing including a rebuild of its 911/83 engine— a correct, replacement 73 Carrera RS engine installed in the car by Porsche prior to US import, with supporting documentation from Mr. Jurgen Barth as verification.
