PHS Documented 1965 Pontiac GTO. This GTO is highly optioned with air conditioning, tri-power carburators (not original to car), 4-speed transmission, Safe-T-Track rear differential, power steering, power brakes, tilt steering wheel, am/fm reverb & power driver seat. I've owned this GTO for over 20 years and have recently done some work to the car sense it had been sitting for about 5 years. Original engine and transmission with matching date codes.
List of work done over the last year:
A/C system overhaul + converted to R134A refrigerant.
New clutch - resurfaced original flywheel.
New upper/ lower ball joints, suspension bushings, inner/ outer tie rod ends, sway bar bushings and links.
Alignment
Rebuilt carburetors. Tri-pwer setup not original to car.
Original radiator cleaned.
New brake and fuel lines.
New water pump and fuel pump.
All new coolant hoses and fuel hoses.
New battery + heavy duty battery cables.
New front disc brake conversion.
New driveshaft u-joints.
New front and rear shocks.
New exhaust with splitters.
This GTO is rust free and has been in California for most of its life. It is not a show car but a very nice driver for someone to cruise around to shows and car meets. Paint is nice but does have some blemishes in a couple of spots. I think I’ve mentioned everything about the car but if you have any questions please ask before bidding.
