About this vehicle

1969 Plymouth Road Runner convertible project car - NOT NUMBERS MATCHING

Seller's Notes

UPDATE 5/29/24 - Due to lack of interest, I have decided to part this car out at the end of the listing term (6/15/24). After a few hours of research, it is clear that the parts coming with this car are in excess of $18,000, if not more.  Hopefully someone will save this diamond in the rough, as I hate to take such a drastic measure - but I need my garage back.

The floor pan and trunk pan have been replaced and the quarter panels and outer wheel houses have been trimmed to fit a convertible. The bad rust has been removed and most of the surface rust. The convertible top frame is badly rusted and will need to be repaired. The top itself is missing. The rear bumper has been re-chromed. There is no front bumper. The rear deck lid is in good shape, with little to no rust. There is no hood, but all the parts for the air grabber are present, including the cable. The car comes with a rear seat and front seat frames. There are many parts included, as well as a lot of bright work.

Vehicle Details

A true “N” code (Air grabber) with 383 4 speed manual with a DANA 60 rear end. The engine and transmission are not the original and came from a ‘70 Road Runner. The engine ran when it was removed, but that was several years ago. It should be rebuilt, or at least disassembled, inspected and resealed. I have installed the engine and transmission to make it easier to move. The manual steering gear was installed just to move the car around. The power steering gear is included.
