NO RESERVE AUCTION!!! FOR A GREAT, LATE MODEL TRUCK OFFERING. END PRICE IS LIKELY TO BE A STEAL FOR THIS TRUCK.

VERY IMPORTANT. READ LISTING IN ITS ENTIRETY. I KNOW IT'S LONG, BUT WANT TO BE FULLY TRANSPARENT WITH FULL DISCLOSURE. If you’re serious about buying, then you’ll appreciate the details.

With no reserve, it is priced to move quickly in an AS-IS sale.

Here’s a chance to drive a great truck from one of the most reliable car builders out there for just pennies on the dollar! And one that’s in exceptionally decent condition overall, considering its age and mileage.

It is a 104,391 mile truck, likely to sell at WELL BELOW the price of what these normally sell for. Please, read the listing in detail and do not expect a new truck when you come to pick it up. If you want something in perfect condition with no wear or tear or maintenance needed, then you will need to look at the newer and far more expensive $25,000+ offerings. Read the details below, go through the photos and view the youtube video. There will be no surprises if you do your due diligence beforehand. As with any As-Is sale, expect the worst and hope for the best. The price is based on the worst case scenario, but the vehicle is often not as bad as I tend to over-exaggerate the issues to ensure there are no surprises.

PLEASE ONLY BID IF YOU PLAN TO FOLLOW THROUGH WITH THE PURCHASE OF THIS VEHICLE IF YOU WIN THE AUCTION. EBAY IS NOT A GAME. AFTER YEARS OF SUCCESS ON EBAY, TOO MANY FAILED AUCTIONS LATELY AS A RESULT OF PEOPLE BIDDING WITH NO INTENTION TO PURCHASE. PLEASE SHOW A LITTLE RESPECT AS IT IS COSTLY FOR SELLERS. PLEASE READ LISTING OF THIS "AS-IS" SALE. THANK YOU.

BIDDERS WITH ZERO FEEDBACK MUST MESSAGE ME OR BIDS MAY BE CANCELED.

NOTE: Initial listing may have a low reserve set. This simply to allow the "Buy It Now" price to remain for anyone that doesn't want to wait out the auction. Once the reserve price is met, that option goes away, thus I include it solely to keep that option available until it reaches a certain price point. Ebay can be hit and miss. If for some unlikely reason, there is no real activity on the listing, it may be removed. Otherwise, as long as there are bids on the vehicle to show that enough buyers have seen the listing, the reserve price will be removed a day or two before the listing ends. So place your bids as if there is no reserve and ignore the notice when it says reserve not met. The truck will be offered to the highest bidder regardless.

Another great vehicle that will likely sell well below Kelly blue book value. Looking at the SALE HISTORY, most of these cars are selling in the $14,000+ range. This is a NO RESERVE AUCTION, leaving a chance for the winning bidder to STEAL this desirable pickup truck for just pennies on the dollar.

I am not a dealer, however, we do have a towing company and therefore come across a lot of Lien Sale vehicles. Most that we get are junkers that we sell at a weekly auction for under $2,000. However, of the cars that come available, we do cherry pick the nicer cars and offer them publicly. If you’ve seen any of my past listings, most go out at very low price points, well below Kelly Blue Book wholesale (trade-in) value. We are more interested in a quick sale than holding out for a few extra dollars.

Here, we have a late model 2014 Nissan Frontier SV Crew Cab 4x2 with 104,391 miles (well under the national average of 15,000 per year).

See attached window sticker for options / features included on this truck.

While lien sale vehicles are rarely perfect, and this one isn’t perfect either, it is certainly well better than average in its appearance, when considering the age and mileage. Primarily, just typical cosmetic stuff that's expected after 10 years in a pick-up truck.

At just over 100,000 miles, it's actually a low-mileage truck. These vehicles from Japanese companies are known for their reliability. Have seen these things with well over double the mileage still running strong.

This truck, unlike many pickups, does not appear to have been used as a “work truck”. The tailgate is basically straight. The bed and rear fenders, aside from some minor dings, scratches and small dents that you have to look to find, are pretty straight. From 10 feet back, it’s a good looking, clean black truck.

For 100,000+ miles, the truck is quite clean. Inside is clean with only typical wear and tear on the seats and surfaces. Just a few scuff marks on the seats, which might be able to be cleaned out with a good detail. The rest of the interior is in pretty good shape with no apparent excess wear.

Carfax report is clean. It is shown as a 3-owner truck. No reported accidents. Clean title history. The truck was first sold in California. The first owner put 64,000 miles on it. The second owner purchased it, apparently moved it to Utah, in 2021 then sold it just 10 months later with less than 200 miles added to the odometer. Appears this was likely an auction sale by a dealer and bought by a dealer. The third owner (2nd to actually purchase the truck to use it) bought it in 2022 and brought it right back to California. So, it's been in a favorable warm weather climate nearly its entire life. This owner added the remaining 40,000 miles, certainly getting good use out of it at 20,000 miles per year over the past two years.

Per its Carfax history report (available upon request), It has good consistent maintenance history through 2023 when we acquired the car via Lien Sale. Per the Carfax report, the last service was completed at 101,667 miles, less than 2,000 miles ago.

With lien sales, we do have to hang onto cars for approximately 1-2 years before they clear all liens and are available to be sold. The Carfax report reflects that the car was last serviced in 08/2023.

The only warning light on in the gauge cluster is the air bag light. Relatively common error. With no accidents, it's likely a sensor error that can be cheaply fixed. But, we have not had it checked, therefore I can't offer any guarantee as to the exact reason for it being on, hence this being an "AS-IS" sale. Aside from this, no other error codes. Carfax reports that it passed CA smog one year ago. Truck runs and drives great.

The biggest flaw with this truck is that some of the upward facing areas (hood / roof) have excessively faded paint. Other than those areas, the black paint still has a reasonable glossy shine to it.

The truck fires right up, Idles, runs and drives well.

As with any of our lien sale cars, we do HIGHLY recommend that the new owner take them in for service as most have been sitting for a while (this one cleared quicker than many do though, so it sat only for about 9 or 10 months waiting to clear liens. This one was last in for service in 2023, per the Carfax report.

The front seats have seat covers on them. Didn't want to pull them off, but put my hand under them and didn't feel any tears or wear spots. Possibly, the seat covers have been on for a while and the front seats are in good shape? The rear seat scuff marks, along with a couple of marks on the driver door panel may be something on them, rather than wear. Possible they will clean off with a good detail? Beyond that however, the rest of the interior is overall, reasonably clean. No excess wear on any of the touch points. Clean dash with no cracks.

Wheels are in great shape. No curb rash.

NOTABLE PROBLEMS OR AREAS THAT NEED ATTENTION, AS DETERMINED BY THE SELLERS PERSONAL WALK-AROUND AND TEST DRIVE OF THE VEHICLE INCLUDE, BUT MAY NOT BE LIMITED TO:

  1. Several paint scratches around the truck. None appear to be major, but after 10 years and 100,000+ miles, they have added up. See video. Right front bumper cover and right rear corner have the largest notable scratches (see photos / video). The rest are typical run of the mill scratches that accumulate over time and are found around the truck.
  2. Several door dings, but most appear to be relatively minor. The left door has a little bit larger of a dent that appears may have already been pulled out. You do have to look closely to spot the dings and minor dents. Right rear door has 4+/- small dings. The right front door has a couple. The Left rear has a small dent (pulled out) with a couple of dings. One or two door dings on the left front door. Only some minor dings on the rear fenders. Rear tailgate looks pretty straight.
  3. Hood and roof paint are excessively faded. Either need paint or since it's a black truck, could possibly do a vinyl wrap over those two areas. For someone that wants a good looking truck, with the dings being relatively minor, doesn't need much body work. Could do the minor body work and paint the exterior and it would look nearly brand new.
  4. Tires are worn and need to be replaced.
  5. Scuff marks on the rear seats and driver door panel (see photos / video). Unlikely most buyers of this truck would be concerned with any of the wear found inside as it is quite typical and not at all excessive.

I've done my very best to disclose everything I can identify. If I missed something in the list above, it's likely visible in the photos and/or video. Please, read the entire listing and view the photos and video in detail. More simply put, it's a 10 year old truck with 100,000+ miles that has typical wear and tear expected for a truck of this age and mileage.

It's a good running and driving truck and most would simply buy it and just drive it. For someone that wants something really nice, this will likely sell at a greatly discounted price, could simply do a little body work and paint the exterior and this truck would look great. Beyond that, determine what the air bag light warning is on for, replace the tires and do typical maintenance on it and it should be a great truck for many years and miles to come.

Having viewed many of these trucks, for the mileage, this is one of better looking ones. It’s in better shape than I see many of them in, but is certainly not perfect. As noted, it's not a "NEW" truck. It has some small bumps and bruises, but nothing out of the ordinary. Great truck for someone at a likely reduced price point compared to what most of these trucks sell for. It appears that most of the issues are just cosmetic or typical wear / maintenance items.

Mechanically, it “appears” to be in good shape based on the way it runs and drives.

The only pressing issue is that the tires need to be replaced.

PRICE REFLECTS IT BEING SOLD IN AS-IS CONDITION. SELLER OFFERS NO WRITTEN, EXPRESSED NOR IMPLIED WARRANTY OR GUARANTEES. BUYER ACCEPTS THIS BY CHOOSING TO BID ON THE VEHICLE. AS NOTED, IT IS A 10 YEAR OLD VEHICLE WITH 104,000+ MILES. AS WITH ANY VEHICLE OF THIS AGE / MILEAGE, IT’S LIKELY TO NEED SOME GENERAL REPAIRS AND MAINTENANCE.

As with all of our lien sales, the cars are sold As-Is. I’ve done a walk around and inspection of the vehicle and noted any areas in need of attention that are visible. This one, doesn’t appear to need much at all mechanically, with most items noted being cosmetic items. However, the seller offers no written, expressed nor implied guarantees or warranty of any kind. I am not a dealer and therefore do not have a pre-certified inspection process. I view the truck just as any buyer would when we acquire them.

The vehicle is likely to sell WELL BELOW what many sell for. The discounted price is the benefit to the buyer. The seller will not contribute towards any cost of repairs, maintenance or repairs it may need. The significantly reduced price it sells at as a result of NO RESERVE auction is the seller’s ONLY contribution to the buyer, noting that it’s likely to sell at well below market value price. With no reserve, it is priced to move quickly in an AS-IS sale.

I’ve included several high-resolution photos to show its condition as well as a link to a full walk-around and startup video.

BUYER AGREES TO HAVING KNOWLEDGE OF THE SELLERS DISCLOSURES NOTED ABOVE REGARDING THE KNOWN ITEMS THAT CURRENTLY NEED ATTENTION. WHILE NOT APPARENT TO THE SELLER, THE BUYER ACCEPTS THAT THERE COULD BE OTHER ISSUES IN NEED OF ATTENTION. THE SELLER HAS NOTED ANY ITEMS THAT WERE ABLE TO BE DETERMINED VIA A WALK-AROUND AND TEST DRIVE OF THE VEHICLE.

THE BUYER ACCEPTS FULL UNDERSTANDING OF THE VEHICLE'S CONDITION AND TAKES FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE VEHICLE UPON TAKING POSSESSION. BUYER FULLY UNDERSTANDS THAT THIS IS A 10 YEAR OLD VEHICLE WITH OVER 104,000 MILES. IT RUNS AND DRIVES WELLAND APPEARS TO BE IN GOOD CONDITION MECHANICALLY. HOWEVER, IT IS NOT A NEW CAR. AS IS TYPICAL OF ANY VEHICLE, IT WILL NEED MAINTENANCE AND REPAIRS OVER TIME. TYPICAL WEAR AND TEAR ITEMS ARE CONSIDERED TO BE A PART OF TYPICAL MAINTENANCE, WHICH THE BUYER ACCEPTS RESPONSIBILITY TO DO AND ACCEPTS THE VEHICLE IN ITS FULLY AS-IS CONDITION BY COMPLETING THE PURCHASE OF THE VEHICLE.

AS NOTED, IT PASSED SMOG IN 04/2023. AS IT APPEARS TO BE 100% STOCK, WITH AS SMOOTHLY AS IT RUNS, IT APPEARS THAT IT WOULD PASS SMOG AGAIN, NOTING THERE ARE NO MECHANICALLY RELATED WARNING LIGHTS OR MESSAGES DISPLAYED. THE SELLER HOWEVER, OFFERS NO SUCH GUARANTEE.

AS IT SAT FOR NEARLY A YEAR, REGISTRATION HASN'T BEEN UPDATED RECENTLY. LIKELY WILL NEED A YEAR OR TWO CAUGHT UP, ONLY IF SOLD TO A CALIFORNIA BUYER. IF SOLD TO AN OUT OF STATE BUYER, BACK REGISTRATION FEES FOR CALIFORNIA ARE NOT DUE.

AS PART OF THE AS-IS SALE AT A NOTABLY REDUCED PRICE FROM ITS TRUE MARKET VALUE, THE BUYER TAKES ON FULL RESPONSIBILITY TO HAVE THE VEHICLE SMOGGED AND ANY OTHER NECESSARY INSPECTIONS AND/OR FEES REQUIRED TO REGISTER AND TITLE THE VEHICLE.

I RECENTLY ACQUIRED THE VEHICLE VIA A LIEN SALE. VEHICLE IS NOW FREE AND CLEAR WITH ALL LOANS / LIENS PAID OFF. As part of the as-is sale, seller will provide the buyer with all paperwork necessary to register and title the vehicle, including documentation that all liens have been satisfied. As with any used vehicle purchase, buyer is responsible for all costs associated with getting the vehicle smogged and registering the vehicle into their own name. All loans / liens are already paid off. If sold to a California buyer, happy to go with you to my local DMV to ensure an easy transaction as I've sold several of these over the past few months. CHECK MY EBAY FEEDBACK. VERY EASY PROCESS. HAVE HAD VERY HAPPY BUYERS AS I DO ALL I CAN TO DISCLOSE ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING IN AN EFFORT TO UNDER-PROMISE AND OVER-DELIVER. I ALSO DO EVERYTHING I CAN TO ASSIST IN MAKING THIS A SMOOTH AND EASY TRANSACTION. I AM FLEXIBLE AND WILL WORK WITH THE BUYER IF DEADLINES CAN'T BE MET PRECISELY, AS LONG AS THE BUYER COMMUNICATES OPENLY WITH ME.

I CAN ASSURE THAT CALIFORNIA AND TEXAS HAVE NO ISSUES WITH LIEN SALE PURCHASES BY THE PUBLIC, HAVING SOLD VEHICLES TO BUYERS IN BOTH STATES AND NEVER HAVING HAD A PROBLEM. SIMPLY DUE TO LACK OF EXPERIENCE SINCE I HAVEN’T SOLD TO BUYERS FROM OTHER STATES, I CANNOT ABSOLUTELY GUARANTEE WHAT THEIR PROCESSES ARE. IF YOU ARE NOT FROM TEXAS OR CALIFORNIA, I WOULD RECOMMEND CHECKING WITH YOUR LOCAL DMV TO ENSURE THAT THEY HAVE NO PROBLEM WITH LIEN SALE PURCHASES. WOULDN’T IMAGINE THAT THEY WOULD, BUT IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE BUYER TO BE SURE. THE WORST CASE SCENARIO WOULD BE THAT THEY MAY REQUIRE THE CAR BEING REGISTERED / TITLED IN CALIFORNIA FIRST, THEN TRANSFERRED TO YOUR STATE. THAT IS HIGHLY UNLIKELY AS MOST STATES HAVE SIMILAR RULES.

VEHICLE HAS A CLEAN TITLE HISTORY, CLEAN AND CLEAR TITLE WILL BE ISSUED. NO ACCIDENT HISTORY REPORTED THROUGH CARFAX.

PLEASE - ONLY BID IF YOU PLAN TO FOLLOW THROUGH WITH THE PURCHASE. BIDDING IS A BINDING CONTRACT TO BUY THE CAR IF YOU WIN THE AUCTION. FOR A CAR AT THIS VERY LOW PRICE POINT, I CAN'T AFFORD TO WASTE TWO WEEKS IN HAVING TO RELIST AND/OR PAY LISTING FEES AGAIN. I KINDLY ASK THAT BIDDERS SHOW RESPECT AND COMPASSION AND PLEASE ONLY BID IF YOU ARE ABLE TO COMPLETE THE SALE.

$300 DEPOSIT IS DUE IMMEDIATELY UPON AUCTION END. REMAINING BALANCE IS DUE, VIA CASH UPON DELIVERY OR WIRE TRANSFER WITHIN 7 DAYS OF AUCTION END (NO CASHIER'S CHECKS). DEPOSIT IS NOT REFUNDABLE UNLESS WE MUTUALLY AGREE TO NOT COMPLETE THE SALE. CHECK MY FEEDBACK. I AM VERY TRANSPARENT. IF YOU'RE NOT HAPPY WITH THE CAR WHEN YOU COME TO PICK IT UP, I WON'T HOLD YOU TO THE SALE AND WILL REFUND THE DEPOSIT. I WANT THE BUYER TO BE HAPPY WITH THEIR PURCHASE. IT IS NOT REFUNDABLE IF YOU WIN THE AUCTION AND SIMPLY CHANGE YOUR MIND OR DIDN'T READ THE DETAILS ABOVE BEFORE BIDDING OR ANY OTHER REASON THAT IS SOLELY DUE TO THE BUYER'S ACTIONS AND NOT OF MY OWN DOING. POINT BEING, PLEASE DON'T BID UNLESS YOU HAVE READ THE LISTING IN ITS ENTIRETY, VIEW THE PHOTOS AND VIDEO AND ARE READY AND ABLE TO COMPLETE THE SALE IF YOU WIN THE AUCTION. THANK YOU!

BUYER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR PICKING UP THE VEHICLE AND/OR MAKING ARRANGEMENTS TO HAVE IT SHIPPED / TRANSPORTED TO YOUR LOCATION. BUYER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH PICKING UP THE TRUCK OR HAVING IT SHIPPED / TRANSPORTED TO THE BUYER'S LOCATION.

THIS IS AN AS-IS LISTING OF A 10 YEAR OLD VEHICLE WITH 104,000 MILES ON IT. WHILE THE VEHICLE APPEARS TO RUN AND DRIVE WELL, IT IS FULLY DISCLOSED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS ACQUIRED THROUGH A LIEN SALE TRANSACTION. WHILE THIS IS CONSIDERED TO BE A PRIVATE PARTY SALE, THE SELLER HAS NOT HAD THE CAR INSPECTED BY A MECHANIC TO DETERMINE ANY ISSUES BEYOND WHAT ARE READILY NOTABLE THROUGH A WALK-AROUND AND TEST DRIVE OF THE VEHICLE.

IT IS AN "AS-IS" SALE. THIS IS THE PRIMARY REASON WHY IT IS BEING SOLD IN A NO RESERVE AUCTION AND WILL LIKELY SELL AT WELL BELOW MARKET VALUE. THE LOW PRICE TAKES INTO ACCOUNT THAT IT'S NOT PERFECT, NEEDS SOME CURRENT REPAIRS AND COULD NEED SOME FURTHER REPAIRS NOT YET DISCOVERED. AGAIN, THE SELLER HAS DISCLOSED ANY KNOWN ISSUES WITH THE VEHICLE. BASED ON MY OWN PERSONAL OPINION, IT DOESN’T APPEAR TO NEED MUCH, ESPECIALLY MECHANICALLY, BUT I AM IN NO WAY, A PROFESSIONAL MECHANIC QUALIFIED TO OFFER AN OPINION BEYOND JUST A PERSONAL OPINION.

BUYER ACCEPTS FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY AND ALL REPAIRS THE VEHICLE MAY NEED. THE SELLER IS NOT AWARE OF ANY OTHER KNOWN ISSUES. AGAIN, THE VERY LOW PRICE IT WILL SELL AT, TAKES INTO ACCOUNT THAT THIS IS A 10 YEAR OLD VEHICLE THAT COULD BE IN NEED OF MAINTENANCE AND POSSIBLY SOME REPAIRS.

VEHICLE WILL ALMOST CERTAINLY SELL FAR LOWER THAN WHAT OTHER SIMILAR TRUCKS ARE SELLING FOR. THAT HUGE PRICE REDUCTION IS THE SELLER’S ONLY ASSISTANCE TOWARD MAINTENANCE OR MAKING ANY REPAIRS NECESSARY. THE SELLER WILL NOT CONTRIBUTE TOWARD ANY REPAIRS ONCE THE SALE IS FINAL, REGARDLESS IF ADDITIONAL ITEMS ARE DISCOVERED.
