Exceed model with all the bells and whistles! Front lamp washers, air ride driver's seat, rear heater, sunroof (sunroof interior cover needs new plastic tabs to work, Push button suspension adjustment, Full Tool Kit, all push button HVAC control system, Needs AC recharge, Front stainless bull bar (I have the original Amber glass fog lights), side steps with rubber mud flaps. Equipped with the triple gauge - inclinometer, temp and compass, compass is intermittent but I think I have a spare setup. As with most, the electric folding mirrors don't fold but remotely adjust fine. All gauges, dash lights and transfer case indicator lights work fine, Low Loc would probably climb a tree! Electric windows are fine. Rear seat plastic cup holder have age chips (common).
I have added K&N air filter, front multi receiver hitches (I use a slide in winch setup so I can use on either front or rear, BUT I have never been stuck!!). I added AISIN manual front hubs, New M&S Tires, Rear receiver hitch, enclosed spare tire hard cover (Thanks Ray), Rear LED Floods, I also have 2 pc set of Aluminum skid plates ASFIR (Made in Israel). All lights changed to LEDs. Dash cover and windows ceramic tinted. I have a DIY Wax-Oil frame treatment kit to go with it. I also took out the Japanese frequency radio and put in a nice radio/cd player. The electric antenna recently stopped working and needs replacement.
PLENTY of Spare parts and manuals: filters, Brakes, New OEM wheels and much more that will go with it!
Send me any questions that you have! This is a wonderful vehicle! I may be open to reasonable offers but be serious, You won't find one this nice for less. I will have any inspections done for you at your expense.
I first drove these in the early '90s in eastern Europe and they go anywhere. I loved it so much I knew I would have 1 some day. I got it when it had the equivalent of 27,000 miles and have used it during hunting season to pull a small enclosed trailer (cruised at 70 easy w/ trailer, 75 without) and have my deer hunting Labrador with me and could get up any hill. I prefer the 2Dr short wheelbase and can still carry 4. It takes the old Freon and needs a recharge but I never did it because I only drove it in the winter on hunting trips, heater worked great! My dog is now past and I'm 70 and don't want to hunt alone anymore so it is time to get it out of my shop and let a new owner experience this great vehicle. In case you don't know, Toyota and Nissan also made very similar vehicles but the Mitsubishi was preferred by the Japanese. This vehicle in 1992 sold for the equivalent of $35k in Japan. The Pajero was also the only 1 to win the Paris to Dakar, Senegal race for a number of years!
