The MGB debuted in 1962 replacing the MGA and continued the fame of the iconic and storied small British sports car. It featured a modern design including a monocoque structure instead of the traditional body on frame. The lightweight design reduced manufacturing costs while adding to overall vehicle strength. Wind-up windows were standard, and a comfortable driver's compartment offered plenty of legroom. The MGB was one of the first cars to feature controlled crumple zones designed to protect the driver and passenger in a 30-mph impact. This excellent 1960s sports car is one of the best driving, most reliable and fun sports cars of its period.
This MGB has received a full restoration and shows as well on the underside as it does the top and interior. Fully sorted and further equipped with a Moto Lita Wooden steering wheel, MG wooden shift knob, Fog Lamps, Stainless exhaust, Spin on oil filter conversion, gear reduction starter and 3-point Seatbelts.
The MGB runs and drives well. It has a very solid shell and drives accordingly with a smooth ride. A classic and iconic British roadster, this restored MGB is ready for immediate enjoyment and would certainly be a showpiece at any MG event or other vintage car show. Comes complete with Jack, Spare wheel/tire, Spark plug wrench and knock off hammer.
