This 1954 MG TF is a classic convertible that will surely turn heads. Its exterior and interior are both in a stunning shade of red, and it boasts a clean vehicle title. With only 38,364 miles on the odometer, this two-seater is perfect for a weekend cruise. The model is well-known for its sleek design and driving experience. Don't miss out on the chance to own a piece of automotive history.
This was restored by my grandfather in the early 80s. Still presents well. We used it a lot in the 2000s when my daughter was in pageants and parades. It has a TF-1500 badge on it but it is an XPAG 1250. Stainless Steel exhaust, painted wheels, cylinder head work in 2008 and has been reliable since. The more this car is driven the better it runs. New points but I would recommend upgrading to electronic system. I also have the side curtains for inclement weather. The top is like brand new and only put up for cleaning. Also have a taupe cover that covers the entire driving compartment. I can send extra photos thru message if there are any details you would like to see. Also available for showing at request. OH, and all the gages work except for the water temp but I have an aftermarket gage by drivers knee. Has never overheated and oil pressure is great. The paint was done in 1982. I am pretty sure he used 1 stage enamel (no clearcoat). You can see a few areas have crowsfeet and the usual chips that come with 40+ year old paint. Still great from 10 feet away! She needs some loving but is solid and just needs the right owner to take her all the way back to her former glory. I even spent the summer in 2008 using her as my daily driver back and forth to work. I got a remarkable 40 mpg. Odometer is not turning so actual mileage is probably closer to 42k
