This 1986 Mercury Cougar is a classic car with a blue interior and exterior. The fox body Cougar has a built 460 with new 9.5 to 1 pistons and balanced rotating assembly.  The engine has a mild hydraulic cam that builds great power and gobs of torque. The power from engine goes through built C6 transmission with 2500 stall converter shifted by BM pro shifter. The car does have functional linelock new master cylinder that is small bore since car has manual brakes. The car also has no power steering. Car has power seat and power windows . Small amount of rust at base of passenger side shock tower size of quarter. The battery is in trunk with on off switch in  old gas filler door. The engine is topped with Weiand Stealth high rise intake topped with Holley 750 double pumper no choke. The lightening to sparkplugs comes from Mallory distributor and goes through MSD ignition with 6AL box. The rear end is 8.8 inch posi with 3.73 gears . Older build not perfect but very cool always an attention getter It is a great addition to any classic car collection.
