PROJECT Car

Originally Lime Frost (Light Green) With Lime Gold (Green gold/ light green) Decore interior.

Appears to be a project car that was never finished. Some parts appear to have been replaced but either unused or used little. Hedman Headers Shorty Headers appers to have surface rust. Exhaust pipes, mufflers and exhaust tips appear to me to be stainless steel from just after the headers on back. One muffler still has a paper label on it. A quick search for 42441 comes up with Flowmaster muffler.

I pulled the valve covers and the heads look real clean. Possibly freshined up at some point. Valve springs and rockers look new to me. The intake, front cover, Oil pan, and headers appear to have stainless steel or unrusted bolts. Unsure to what extent the engine may have been worked on or if previous owner just wanted to dress it up. As - Is, As Found.

Odometer has 53927 miles on it. True Mileage unknown.

Chrome Keystone Wheels have rust. Tires roll but should probably be replaced before driving.
Front disc brake calipers and rotors were installed however it appears to me they were installed in the wrong sides as the calipers are facing the front as opposed to facing the rear. Master cylinder appears to be the original for Manual Drum Brakes. Brakes have no pressure and need to be repaired.

Roof has lots of rust bubbles under the vinyl top and might need a new roof panel. Reproduction panels appear to be available.
Rear valance panel as a ding or dings. Trunk lid and hood have a dent as well as some rust in the underside lip.
Front fenders, valance panel, and quarters look fairly straight to me. Fenders, quarters, and doors show some signs of bondo. Unknown how much was used.

Some rust holes in the back of the trunk. Front floors appear to have been repaired. Passenger side of front frame rail has a section that has been repaired. Front passenger side frame rail has an area that to me needs some repair. Look at the picture from the front showing jack stand on the frame.

Fuel line disconnected. Last owner stated they installed a new fuel pump and thought the fuel line is blocked.
Holley 2 barrel carburetor looks like it was replaced and not used much. Has provision for a mechanical choke however no choke linkage or cable was set up. You might want to change to an original style or electric choke. Will run on a squirt of carburetor cleaner. Have not tested running the engine using a container of gas as of the time of posting the auction.

Throttle rod is not hooked up. Carburetor needs a bigger hole for the linkage or different throttle rod or cable would need to be used.

Dash pad looks pretty good. A slight bend to it. Might be a reproduction.
Front seats are not bolted down. Driver's seat has some rips at the top. I have not noticed rips in the other seats. No door or rear interior panels. I did not get any with the car. Carpet was removed. Headliner mostly ripped out.

Condition of the brakes is unknown. They should be checked out and serviced before attempting to use.
Parking brake handle appears to be frozen. This car has the rare parking brake warning light.

Last inspection was Massachusetts in 2005. You will get a Bill of Sale - No Title - Rhode Island does not issue titles for vehicles manufactured before year 2000. Car was in Rhode Island around 10 years. Returmed to MA about 2 years ago. I do not know if it was ever registered in RI. Car is now located in RI. I do not have any title or registration paperwork.

You are strongly urged to perform your Due Dilligence and come inspect the car or have the car inspected. Sold As - Is, As Found. Cannot guarantee your state will issue a title or registration. There are several services that may be able to help you get a title.
