Details
This low-mileage 1989 Mercedes-Benz 560SEC coupe (C126) shows only 29,836 miles, and power comes from a 5.6 liter V8 (M117) equipped with Bosch KE-Jetronic fuel injection and mated to a four-speed automatic transmission that sends power to the rear wheels. The car is finished in Cabernet Red over Medium Red leather upholstery. This luxury coupe is fitted with several amenities to improve the ride quality, including a rear self-leveling suspension, four-wheel ABS brakes, and cruise control. Additional options include an electronic sunroof, power windows, heated seats, Burl Wood trim, and a Becker Grand Prix stereo. CarFax lists ownership in New Mexico, Texas, California, and Florida; the car is also accident-free and currently part of an extensive collection in Miami, Florida, that is being sold.
This 560SEC has been inspected and photographed by a third party to document the condition. The inspection and photos show a clean and well-cared-for example that has barely been used. The exterior shows only minor chips on the front bumper and drivers mirror. All body panels are straight and consistent with the mileage of the car. The interior looks new and reflects the same condition as the exterior. The leather is free of tears, and the dash is in good condition. The drivers side floor mat shows light wear, but the rest of the carpets are rich in color and plush. All mechanical systems function as intended, and no irregularities were reported during the test drive. The car comes with one key.
This Mercedes is being sold through a CLASSIC.COM Pro and is located in Miami, Florida.

About the model
The Mercedes-Benz 560SEC was a top-of-the-line S Coupe manufactured between 1986 and 1991. Powered by a 5.6L V8 engine, the 560 SEC matched power with comfort and refinement. Built using the C126 platform, the 560 SEC was one of Mercedes' most desired models when it was first released. Famed Mercedes tuner AMG created several versions of the 560SEC featuring tuned and enlarged engines and a distinctive 'Wide Body' body kit. These versions were known as the 5.6 AMG and the 6.0 AMG. These 'Wide Body' cars are commonly emulated, often with genuine AMG parts, but less than 50 originals are believed to have been built.
