2008 Mazda 3 hatchback. NEEDS TRANSMISSION. It was checked by Mazda about a week ago. Needs a new transmission. The suggested price to fix at the Mazda dealer is $3448.29. (Shown in the last picture) If you can do it yourself it will be much cheaper. It still drives but starts in 2nd gear then goes thru the rest of the gears fine. Bumps a little when it down shifts. The engine runs great. Smooth and quiet. The tires are only a year old. Other things it will need are rear springs and fuel sending unit. The gas gauge doesn't always work. The last two items are not expensive. If you can do the work yourself, you will have a nice running car for not that much money, and it gets great gas mileage. That is all I can think of.
