1997 Land Rover Discovery SD. Rare 5 speed, manual seat, non-sunroof model. 152k miles.

I've owned for a couple years now and upon ownership replaced the engine with a 90k block from W Tillery. Performed a complete top/front end rebuild which included but not limited to new heads, lifters, cam, timing chain, proflow water pump, ARP head studs, spark plugs, 8mm wires, coil pack, clutch, fan, power steering hoses, exhaust gaskets, engine mounts, high torque starter, and of course every seal and hose. I've since put about 8k smooth running miles.

New cat-back exhaust.

Transmission shifts smoothly. Oil used is red line mtl 75w80.

Oil used for rear/center/front diffs is royal purple max gear 75w90.

Suspension is medium duty 2" lift springs with pro-comp shocks. Ride is awesome.

Windshield is new and replaced with like new headlights with no pitting and excellent reflective paint.

Rebuilt the brake system with a new master cylinder, 2" extended stainless brake lines, Defender front calipers and all new castrol dot4 fluid. The ABS does work (video shows no lights on in the dashboard).

Interior was in great shape but needed attention with mini-bulbs in the switches (expensive little guys) as well as overhead lights. The manual leather seats are the most comfortable Rover seats I've ever sat in but have wear as shown in pics. The headliner is sagging and will need replaced. New rear door seal. I replaced the rear view mirror with a Discovery 2 that has a built-in digital compass. Replaced stereo head unit with aftermarket as well as subwoofers. Note, PO removed the cd player under the passenger seat and replaced with an aftermarket amplifier. Sounds great.

Tires are Pathfinder AT's with about 80% tread left sized at 245/70. These have the 3 peak mountain snowflake symbol for excellent winter traction. Wheels were recently repainted in addition to new center caps.

I had found a non-rear-air 3rd row seat set and decided to add the rare drivers side. I left the passenger side open but will include all the panels and hardware to add if you choose. Also included are the panels to remove the left seat for additional space. Also included is a perfect rear door pocket (one on truck is cracked) in addition to front door pockets as I never liked using them as I seem to kick and damage them. Also included is the stock spare cover and nuts. This only fits the factory spare steel wheel but since I upgraded to the alloy it wasn't needed. It's not perfect but thought I'd include anyway.

The bits I'd address if keeping:
- new headliner
- wet sand and clear coat to roof
- paintless dent repair on hood and fender

I have too many Rover projects and not enough room so sadly decided to part with this one.

Thanks for looking.
