Buyer flaked, So relisting my 2005 x type estate, 3.0 AWD. It is a rare ultraviolet, rare estate in rare condition. The only known estate imported into the US in ultraviolet, the car has been extremely well - kept and maintained. 82k original miles. Never smoked in. If you’re looking for a bone-stock estate this is not it. The original(see note) ultraviolet paint has NO dings, dents, fading, very few chips. Has crossbars for the rack, dark tinting on windows, 18” Bremerkraft rims with matching Continentals. No I do not have the original rims. Underside is spotless. Always Castrol Edge synthetic oil changes. Interior is near perfect, cream leather with touch screen(nav unit recently replaced), Alpine premium system, all the standard goodies including heated seats. Cold a/c, cruise, windows, seats, navigation, lights , everything works exactly as it should. Sheepskin bottom covers, dash pad, rear cargo cover.
This car was sold on Bring a Trailer in March 2021 for $18,000 with approx 53Kmiles, You can still pull up the info on it at that site. I purchased the car in Oct 2022 in Ca with approx 71k miles. That owner installed the Bremer Kraft rims and tires and the window tinting. Since then I have installed rear Flowmasters with larger oval chrome tips, mesh grille, rear Bilstein shocks, front struts, mounts and springs, front sway bar links and bushings, rear bumper protector, recent front matching Continentals.
Note: late 2022 a delivery truck backed into it and damaged the hood, fenders and bumper/grille. The car was in the shop for over 3 months to correctly repair the cosmetics, searching for the best replacement parts, so no bondo. The leaping Jaguar (included)was removed from the hood otherwise everything is back to pre-accident status. The radiator was damaged and replaced. Otherwise NO mechanicals were affected. The paint job is excellent, all panels align as they should, hood fits and closes perfectly. The ride is typical Jag x.
Drove the car from San Diego in 2023 to Alabama and the x performed flawlessly. The car is shown at local shows and always draws a crowd. Some rims do have road rash, have Colorlug covers, the front Continentals have less than 1000 miles on them, the rear about 10000. Comes with 2 keys/fobs, all the original manuals, some service receipts, exterior car cover, crossbars. The car currently has a clear Al title and current reg. Edit 4/13. There are a few things about the car that were there when it sold in 2021, still there when I purchased in 2022. Rear glass window struts do not support the glass. It has new rear hatch struts which work perfect; 1 defroster vent cover is broken but fit ok, the other is a bit loose (these are impossible to find)-see pic, a paint scrape on the passenger side mirror; the right headlight assembly adjusting clips are broken.
This is a highly desireable model in excellent overall condition in a very rare color. Car is in Montgomery and inspections are encouraged but I will answer any questions as quickly as possible with adtl pics as necessary.
