Honda Accord Touring Sport Coupe V6 I-VTEC high performance 2-door. Automatic, 3.5L (6cyl) 278hp I-VTEC gasoline, 2016

VIN:  1HGCT2B00GA006402   Approx Miles (5/26/24): 81,100

Black metallic with bi-color black and tan leather interior.

No mechanical faults, Repossession by owner. The car drives great and has no issues or dash lights on except for the ACC LKAS (update of 05/28 as written below, we are in the process of changing the cracked windshield here pictured) which was  an amber advisory before but now after using it from previous battery disconnection is white (see the dashboard picture) and according to "hondavehicleguide" could very well be due to the broken windshield and not a malfunction. No other electrical or electronics faults or advisories.

History: 2 owner original Colorado car bought in 2018 by the current owner, after being declared by the insurance a “total loss” because of hail damage on the body and with clean Colorado title still in hands as of today. Pictures to prove and upon inspection anyone can see that all the fixtures, hinges, sub-frames as well as the undercarriage are totally original and untouched since built by Honda. All the dents of the hail damage were addressed back in early 2019 and a few body parts repainted. It was then left on consignment to a dealer who "sold" it with a “buy here-pay here” and never paid the owner creating false declarations to the Nevada DMV and using a family relative named as a fake buyer (that's a good definition of "nightmare" yes). Lawsuit followed and a Writ of Attachment was issued by the Las Vegas 8th District Court in 2022 awarded the fully lawful right of repossession by its original owner, who is selling it today (documents to prove of course if wanted/desired). The car in 2019, after the hail damage had been repaired was handed over to this used car dealer as beautiful as new and only had about 20thousand miles.

Back to now, the car needs basically a full respray/paint job given the fact that the body was neglected and under the strong summer Nevada sun of these past few years, the clear coat dried and peeled off (complete paint job quoted to me around $2500 for the whole car last week). There is also a crack in the windshield (quoted to me $500 to replace) and a crack in the rear bumper (which would fall into the new full paint job quote to make the entire body as good as new). Mechanically, as assessed after the repossession, it needed new front brakes since they were vibrating, which were just done this past week for a good $400 dollars, an a/c recharge and oil life is presently at 40% according to the onboard systems. All the error codes, which were minor things like low tire pressures and others due to the battery being disconnected, have been addressed. The PDC (park distance control) has two sensors in the bumper needing to be fixed and which will be fixed at owner's expense.

The car has been driven initially (3 weeks ago) for a good 50 miles to establish what needed to be done and addressed properly and is being used daily to double check and it drives now fine and smoothly with no faults except what already mentioned above. Time permitting, oil and filters will be changed for peace of mind and it will be driven a few more miles to be 100% sure that everything runs well, in absolute good faith and transparency.

Please see all the detailed pictures matching the description. Yes, it looks bad and it makes a car lover’s heart bleeding, especially because it’s the top of the line and sharpest of all the Honda Accords and it has the much sought after totally new 2016 very modern redesign but no it’s nothing serious, only cosmetics. Actually it would be the absolute perfect car if you have or work in a body shop or have or work in a car wrapping or advertising business or want to wrap it in a Lambo verde Ithaca (lime green) or a Porsche Miami blue (like the Mustang grabber blue) or just a stealth matt black and never worry about the clear coat peeling of when you un-wrap it!

This is the TOP OF THE ACCORD LINE and RARE V6 TOURING COUPE, it has every possible, available and imaginable option; it’s branded Honda but basically it’s a luxury and sporty Acura from every point of view and the color combination is ideal, very modern, sleek and with 278hp of the high rpm I-VTEC 3.5 naturally aspirated engine, it flies on the road when you want to feel it roaring.

Both electronic keys are brand new and present (2 and both being keyless) for a hefty $500 dollars just spent. The whole car was cleaned and detailed throughout professionally and it’s worth to note that the leather is fairly dry and has a few cracks in the driver’s seat while the rear seats are like new so it would benefit of more tlc and a leather moisturizer applied overtime. This to really give a precise and pinpointed description to the best of the seller’s knowledge.

THE CAR RUNS PERFECTLY FINE like a Japanese hi-tech watch! Owner is moving abroad, hence selling all the cars owned. Best reasonable offer takes it. CLEAN COLORADO ORIGINAL TITLE (of when it was purchased) IN HANDS.

Any inspection and test drive is truly welcomed. This is a GREAT DEAL. Let’s be honest, V6 2016 Accord Touring Coupe with the whole new front and Matrix led lights with this mileage are normally priced around $20,000 dollars and above and never less than $15,000. The buy it now price still leaves plenty of room to use the car for years at a minimal cost and it’s a fantastic opportunity for the DIY (Do it Yourself) entry level sports car lover. It’s a previous hail damage only, not a car which run under a train or flooded in 3 ft of water by a hurricane at some point in its life! So it will last forever being a Honda Accord to begin with and residual value will always be there for the same reasons. Honda Accords are commanding top dollars and are quick sellers always, like Toyota Camry’s. Not to mention the I-VTEC V6 joyful ride, even if it had a wooden stool to sit on behind the steering wheel to drive it ?

ADDED ON 05/28: owner is changing the windshield (another $500) this week since it affects road security unlike the clear coat of the paint being peeled off. Furthermore, since the "AutoCheck" report here says that the car was involved in a collision (2021) and describes it as extended to the whole front and both sides, the car has been TODAY carefully inspected by the body shop assessing the needed paint job, during a second visit and it appears to have been an insurance fraud of when the fake buyer was brought in (2021). All the sub-frames are original and the door sills still have their original paint from the factory, just like all the hinges and inner fixtures of when it was bought in 2018; there's no trace of any damage besides the initial and only hail damage which was fixed in early 2019. Of course the car is fully available for whichever inspection the buyer may desire to perform as well as for test drives.
