For your consideration is a 1969 Ford Torino Grand Touring (GT) Formal Hardtop.
1 of 12,800 Torino GT Hardtops produced .
The Formal GT Hardtop only ran two years. 1968 and 1969.
The GT Fastback and Convertible continued on but not as a Formal Coupe. Then came the Gran Torino in 1972.
This car was originally a 302 Car. Now Has a 351 Cleveland. Motor is turns over but not running.
Currently has a C4 Trans but should have the C6 to match the power of the Cleveland engine.
This Torino is solid. Frame and chassis, body panels and rockers are good,
Floor pans marginal. (see pics). It will need a new Windshield.
Georgia Climate. So no harsh conditions. Great Muscle Car with the 351 Cleveland set up.
It will need mechanical and aesthetic tinkering. It's a true GT.
1969 was is a favorite muscle car era in Detroit. Some of the most competitive Muscle Cars were developed and designed in 1969. Ford Torino GT held it's own. Cool slice of Americana.
DSO 21 Georgia Car.. It hasn't been exposed to heavy road salts or chemicals. (see images of body panels)
Fun Father/Son - Father/Daughter Project.
