The Fiat Coupe was a family of cars introduced for the 1994 model year. The Coupe was offered in a two door coupe body style, featuring four seats, and an exterior designed by Chris Bangle. These cars, which were known internally at Fiat as the Type 175, were powered by a range of naturally aspirated and turbocharged inline four and five engines. These engines were paired to a 5 or 6 speed manual transmission which sent power to the front wheels. Production of the Fiat Coupe lasted until 2000, when the model was discontinued.
The turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-four utilizes dual overhead camshafts and 16 valves, and it was factory rated at 187 horsepower and 214 lb-ft of torque.
