It wouldn't take too much to get this car back to original and I had plans of going the pro-street route but didn't have the heart to cut her up. At 68 years old, I've owned three A bodies all were four speeds except for this one. If she were a four speed I wouldn't even consider parting with her. I've owned this car for over ten years. Purchased in Missouri. Previous owner parked it in 78 in a climate controlled shop until I purchased it in 2013.Car is pretty much stock and unrestored with an early repaint that looks good from ten feet away and I had a nice audio system professionally installed, touchscreen receiver, duel amps and six speakers (original am still working)
Body is rust free and being Canadian built car was rust proofed from the factory. The interior is in excellent condition, seats, carpet, headliner and dash pad, etc. The factory ac still blows cold (also have a can of R12 that goes with the car if needed in the future). Everything that wears out aside from the tires, will need replacing as I said she's unrestored. I do have it registered and insured and was running it around town until the front end got worse. I installed a brand new steering box but A arms are shot making it hard to steer. I've replaced the whole fuel system from the tank to the carb, including the carb. I installed an aluminum radiator because of the Florida heat. I managed to keep everything I replaced/original stock parts. I start her regularly to pull her out of the garage. This car has been stored in the garage since day one.
