1975  Datsun 280Z custom project.  Zero-rust car from the start, was running/driving 2.8L / Automatic car.  Drivetrain was professionally removed, and the car stripped for a very high-end repaint in RM Diamont (Glasurite) British Racing Green Metallic.  I waited over two years and spent three grand on the custom genuine Carbon Fiber (CF) fender flares, CF front bumper eliminators, CF front turn signal conversion kit, CF front full air dam, CF rear filler panel kit, and CF 3-piece rear spoiler.  The front grill is a Skillard black powder-coated aluminum unit, and the rear roll pan has been metal worked to eliminate the rear bumper, bumper impact units, etc.  One hard point has been left (reinforced to the frame) on the driver side rear for a racing/sport recovery loop.

The seats have been professionally reupholstered, there is a new carpet kit installed, including the trans tunnel, the center console has been restored.  You will want to remove the original automatic bezel in favor of your 5- or 6-speed insert (!). The door panels are excellent, and the gauges are unmodified.  The dash has a couple of cracks; it seems to me that I purchased a molded cover, which if the case will be provided.  The car came with factory rear window louvers in amazing condition as well.

All smalls that appear to be mission (lenses, emblems, fuel door, etc.) are presumed to still be with the car.  The underside is beautiful, the fuel tank cleaned and painted.

She needs the right wheel/tire combo, suspension adjusted (or upgraded) for proper stance, and your engine/trans combo.  The expensive work has already been done.  I've got over $55k in the car, I am selling for $20k to rally cash.

Sold as-is as a project.  Nothing butchered; put a stock drivetrain back if you so desire.

Please be prepared to pay in full via bank transfer OR deposit into my Bank of America account upon auction completion.  I own a professional restoration shop and can assist with transport if needed.  Clear title in hand, matches VIN exactly, no brands or issues,

Feel free to call or text Tim at 360-936-9257 with any questions.  I have been building this one for myself for about seven years now, taking my time and doing it right. This will be on of the nicest custom early Z-cars on the road when finished... do it right!
