1975 Datsun 620. Mostly original. Dealer option rollbar and lights. Factory tachometer. L20b engine. Very little rust. New interior. Mostly original paint. Good tires. Factory brakes. Weber carb. Original carb and air breather included. Runs good. 4 speed. Lights work. Wipers work. Glass is good.
This truck runs and drives good. It passed Missouri State Vehicle Inspection in 2024 with no issues. Emissions has been eliminated, but original parts come with the truck. Electric choke works. I drive it every day the sun is out. Good tires. The brakes are factory drum brakes. The windshield washer does not work, The glove box hinge is broken, The engine compartment light bulb is burned out, along with the cab light. Instrument panel lights work but are dim. The dash has cracks but they have been filled. You can still see them, but are pretty well hidden. Radio is original from the factory but is not hooked up. I don;t know if it works. I have the stock speaker for it. All gears work and the clutch is working good. Occasionally there is a puff of smoke from the tailpipe, especially after idling for a long time. My mechanic told me that a valve seal may have a slow leak, but that I should not worry about it. He is amazed that the truck is in such good condition. Good on gas. Maintained flawlessly. I drive it over 150 miles per week. No issues. I don't add oil between oil changes. Cab and floors are virtually rust free with no repairs. The roll bar and lights are original from 1975. They were a dealer option. Eastern Oregon was this trucks home for years.
