Freshly built 1955 Chevy Belair shorty. Fresh build on small block engine with edelbrock carburetor and aluminum intake. 350 turbo transmission with shift kit. Also has correct dash gear indicator that matches the transmission.New battery, hooker headers with flowmaster mufflers, new aluminum radiator  with dual cooling fans and a  custom made surround that fits interior shape of the front end to insure all air passes through it. The car has disc front brakes with a new master cylinder and booster.
This is not a chopped up thrown together car. It was a good solid car showing 36,000 miles before being shortened. A lot of thought and detail went into the build.
Example the one piece fiberglass tilt front end that has sections of metal fenders and hood bonded to it to make it keep its shape, plus to attach rollers and locking pins to because this isn’t a typical tilt front end that you have to slide forward or have someone hold out the fenders to keep them from rubbing the doors when opening or closing..this front tilts by simply pushing a button fixed to drivers fender releasing the electric bear claw latches ( that can be deactivated by a switch inside the car )that lock it down and flipping it forward by yourself. It will close down and lock just like you are closing a hood by yourself.
Both bumpers  have been welded to make them one piece like the California bumpers. The body has fresh Gypsy red and shoreline beige paint ( original Chevy colors )
The interior came from a Chrysler that had incredibly comfortable seats with an arm rest and cup holders in them. I also used the dome light and storage compartment from it and the lighted vanity sun visors for a little bit of added class. It has new carpet and custom made door panels.
I Installed more reliable under dash gauges . It does still have all the original gages and radio in the dash unfortunately the radio isn’t working, and the speedometer works when it wants to. All the chrome and stainless trim is very good.all the glass is in good shape except the passenger door glass has a crack but isn’t very noticeable because of the heavy tint on the side glasses.
