The Chevrolet Impala Convertible was the best that Chevrolet had to offer in the late 1950s. It was only in the 1959 model year that the designers used clustered lamps in the shape of "cat's eyes" on the rear of the car and, of course, the integral wings. Economical V8 engine with a volume of 283 cu.i. (4.6 liters) is mated to an automatic transmission. All windows are electrically operated, as is the electro-hydraulic roof. Power steering allows you to turn the steering wheel with one finger. The braking system with brake booster takes care of deceleration. The interior is in the original factory color specification. The Impala has a wonderful engine sound.
