Up for sale today and available for immediate purchase is this little sleeper 1962 Biscayne with a Lamar Walden Automotive built 409  The engine is one of the strongest running 409 powered cars I have owned, the transmission is a built TH350 with a stall converter. I do not know what stall speed it has but I would say somewhere in the 2800 range but it works perfectly with the engine. The car is fast for what it is It has a 3.70 posi rear. The car runs cool in all weather with an oversized walker radiator. This car has been 100% mechanically restored and everything works as it should The car is a blast to drive. The car has manual drum brakes and manual steering so it is super simple. The engine is dressed to the max the pictures speak for themselves. New wheel vintiques wheels and general tires.

The body on the car is rust free and mostly original paint. The car does have battle wounds here and there but overall is in great presentable condition. the bottom of the car has been detailed and painted, new floors were installed at some point but whoever did them must have worked from GM at some point because you can not tell they were done. Everything underside is restored, rebuilt and refinished.

The interior of the car is original and usable, the car could use a headliner and package tray both are still usable and in the car but its not the end of the world. The glass chrome and seals are in great shape.

Overall this car is great and very fun to drive. It is nice enough to be presentable and stand out at shows but can still be enjoyed not a trailer queen. This car is great for someone who does not want to get caught up in the expense of rebuilding an entire car to make it road worthy all the hard work has been done. It can be enjoyed as is or take to the next level.
