We will start off with the exterior of this 56. As you walk around it you'll notice that all of the body lines flow seamlessly from the front to the back, and that the effort that went into fitting all the panels left us with having even symmetrical gaps at the doors hood and rear hatch. The body is showcased by stunning 2 tone color scheme that was redone base coat clear coat and has been both and polished to a mirror finish. The Sierra Gold and Adobe Beige color scheme does a great job of pairing the iconic styling of '56 with the modern features. Every piece of trim and chrome on this Chevrolet has been professionally polished or replaced new and carries a brilliant finish. Up front it's got bumper guards and we can see that the grill is got an excellent fit along with all of the trim around the hood in front of the fenders. Outback it's equally impressive with all new tail lights and bumper guards as well. Every piece of glass in this nomad is like new and all new seals and weather stripping were installed at the time of the restoration. The rear hatch opens and closes with ease along with the rear window. To finish off the exterior it's sitting on a custom set of bill specialty wheels that feature 18" on the front and 20" on the rear.
Next, we will look at the interior of this Nomad. On the inside it's done in the two-tone Copper and Beige color scheme that carries a lot of the factory look. It has the original styled seats and covers that were all redone at the time of the restoration. A new headliner was installed along with all the new bow's visors, and trim. This 56 also has a complete Ciadella carpet kit that runs from the front all the way to the back. We can also see that the radio and stereo system was upgraded with all new custom kick panels as well. All the interior trim is just as beautiful as the exterior trim. You'll also notice that the glass all functions as it should. Looking at the dash the paint is just as slick as the exterior and we can see that it comes with the tilt column. New digital gauges were installed that are mounted in the factory location to keep it with a stock feel. It also has new pedals, and the steering wheel has been redone. From the moment you sit down you'll find yourself wanting to take off and go anywhere.
Finally, we will get to the heartbeat of this Chevrolet. Under the hood everything has the same eye for detail. It has a custom painted hood that showcases this 56 perfectly. It has the upgraded billet hood supports the flow perfectly with the updated radiator support that features the aluminum radiator. The inner fenders and firewall have all been painted and polished out to the same mirror finish that you'll see around the rest of the car. And of course, the power comes from the upgraded 6.2 liter supercharged engine. This LS V8 looks like it was designed to go in this car from the factory, it has a seamless fit and everything is tucked away just like you would hope for in a car of this quality. It comes with power steering upgraded air conditioning and power brakes with the Wilwood master cylinder the feature four wheel drilled and slotted rotors disc brakes. The 6.2L V8 engine runs through the 4L60 Automatic Transmission and 9" Ford Rear End. When you look under this Nomad you'll be nothing shorter than press with the rotisserie restoration. The floor pans are all solid and professionally lined, the chassis has been upgraded to an aftermarket boxed chassis with four link setup, pullovers on all four corners, and tubular control arms. For exhaust it has dual stainless pipes and Magna Flow Mufflers. This Nomad has all the eyes and all the driver features packaged into the one! Winning bidder must contact us within 24 hours of auction end, and make arrangements for payment at that time. A $1000.00 non-refundable deposit is due within 48 hours of end of auction. The remainder is due within 5 days of auction end. If no contact is made within 24 hours we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle, sell it to the next high bidder, or sell it otherwise. Most banks and credit unions do not finance vehicles older than 1995 or with more than 100K miles. Make sure if financing that your financial institution accepts the year and miles of this vehicle before bidding. Please arrange financing prior to bidding.
Buyer is responsible for pickup or shipping of this vehicle. If you wish to have it shipped using a service, we will gladly cooperate. You can locate shippers by doing a search for `auto shippers`.
