I am sad to be selling my 1965 Sebring MX Austin Healey Replica, but I need to thin the herd. This vehicle offers a combination of British elegance, American Muscle and is an awesome budget alternative to someone that might be in the market for a Cobra Kit Car. This was build professionally in 2004 by a company that specialized in the the Sebring MX kits, and they built many of them. It has a clean KY title as a "built Kit car." It only has 8000 miles total, and has been very well maintained.
Powering this lightweight pocket rocket is a 350 Chevy Small Block backed by a Turbo 350 transmission and a Chevy rear end. The 350 engine is topped off by 2 Edelbrock 4 BBL carbs. A B&W ratchet shifter is smooth and easy for highway cruising. Upgrades include; a new aluminum radiator and electric fan, electric cut outs for the exhaust to allow the driver to go from the quiet mufflers to the rowdy side-pipes, functioning air conditioning, heat, and defroster, new Bluetooth stereo, with speakers/subwoofer, 4 wheel disc brakes, power steering, ect... There is a custom top with linkage for it, but it is vinyl and has some small tears. I it is easily removed or reinstalled with 4 bolts and I leave it off all the time for the cruising. The two-tone black on the sides is a vinyl wrap, so you could remove it if it wasn't your cup of tea.
This is basically a 1965 Austin Healey 3000 with all the upgrades done and none of the defects from the original Healey's. I have driven this car quite a bit and it is very road worthy to drive home regionally, or depending on location, and for the right price I could assist with hauling it to you.
