1969 AMC Javelin SST X code 390.  You can call it a "BARN FIND" but its really a classic that's been off the road for last 24 years stored in a climate controlled building.  I bought this car at a Pomona California Swap meet in January 2000.  My son, whose middle name is Javelin, was 2 weeks old at the time, and this car rolled in---had to own it!!  Thought was that one day he would work side by side with me and I'd show him how to to do a rotisserie restoration.  Well flash forward and that never happened, he has no interest in this car and I'm over storing it for him hence its for sale.

Last driven or started probably 2003 ish.  It's been covered and hidden last 24 years!  It's an X code 390 car.  Original paint/Interior.  I did install NOS reline tires in 2022 on the factory steel wheels.  Options: Factory Tach/Gauge Package, titl wheel, AM/FM Stereo, Rear Defrost, AC, PS, PB.  Clean California title. There's no major rust or holes anywhere on the car---solid west coast car!  Just minor door dings and small dent or two but body is straight.  Vinyl roof was starting to checker when I bought it which is typical for west coast sun cars. Headliner is hanging down.

Car rolls etc.  Does not run but would turn over with battery.  Carb is frozen, gas is old, etc etc etc....  I drove it home from Pomona to San Diego in 2000 and it ran well then---it's being sold as non op! The original keys are lost so it would need to be rekeyed.  Tried to find a lock smith in area car is stored but I have to trailer it to Chicago or Milwaukee to get it done---new buyer can deal with it.

Perfect restoration candidate or sort mechanicals and drive as is.

I will not accept payment through Ebay unless you want to pay their stupid fees.  Car is stored in southern Wisconsin and I live in San Diego so cannot meet to show,  I do have someone who manages my storage who can meet to load etc.  I don't need to give the car away.  Bid to win---clean cars like this are impossible to find these days!
