The iconic John Deere livery on this Ford Taurus has a Roush Kraft chassis cradling a Roush/Ford all aluminum 430 cid 850 hp 830 ft-lbs carbureted dry sump V8 with newer SC1 Roush heads.
This extremely fast and well sorted NASCAR has a who's who list of racing goodies including a Tex Racing T101 transmission, tilton clutch and flywheel, 8,738rpm limited MSD 6T ignition, Wilwood Pro Lite calipers and master cylinder, Detroit locker 4.33 and 5.00 differentials, and Eibach springs with Brenner shocks.
This now vintage Roush Winston Cup Car has been restored to exacting specifications by Gary Trout of Gary Trout Autosports in Cross Plains, IN. The caliber of the restoration is of the highest quality with special care towards safety and reliablility. During the restoration a passenger seat with full restraints was added for some extra fun. The entire vehicle was then wraped in a fresh and original to 2000 John Deere #97 livrey.
