Out of state winning bidder pays a $10 in transit fee, $75.00 document fee in addition to the auction winning bid. This fee covers all paperwork, in transit tags, vehicle prep and inspection, FedEx charges etc. New laws state that sales tax may be collected even if you are from out of state. You pay the amount of sales tax as required by your resident state.

Michigan residents will pay a $75 doc fee, 6% sale tax, $15 title fee and $8 license plate transfer or cost of new plates.
