2003 Mercedes-Benz AMG SL55 Roadster

Now, this is what you call A LOT of car for the money. This 2003 Mercedes-Benz AMG SL55 is loaded with performance equipment and luxury features. It is in very good condition inside and out and runs AMAZING.

Already very well equipped, this SL55 adds an additional $5000+ in options, including the Panorama Roof, Keyless Go, Ventilated Seats, and Bi-Xenon Headlamps. Original sticker price for this car was over $118,000. Now you can own this very nice, very fast  SL for a small fraction of that.

Exterior features include AMG multi-spoke alloy wheels and fog lamps.  The AMG Sport package includes the wheels plus unique front and rear bumpers and side skirts.

The exterior is in very good shape, and the paint shines all around. There are no notable dents or dings on the car.

Carfax shows no accident history or any other problems.

The SL has a power roll bar, and the wind screen is included.

The interior is also nice with no holes or tears in the leather seats. The dash, carpets and door panels are all very good.

Both front seats have power controls with memory settings. They are also heated and ventilated and have multicontour functions, including pulse massage.

This Mercedes-Benz is loaded with luxury and convenience features: Power windows, locks and mirrors; remote entry; Cruise control; power tilt and telescopic wheel, Auto dual-zone air conditioning; Trip computer; Rear defrost, and much more. /p>

SSafety Features include dual air bags, side air bags, ABS, and ESP traction & stability control

The automatic transmission has a sequential manual shift mode.  You can shift with the lever or by using buttons on the steering wheel.

The SL also comes with the ABC (active body control) driver-adjustable suspension.

The COMMAND system lets you control GPS Navigation functions, the audio system and more. The BOSE audio system has a CD changer and steering wheel controls.

The optional glass panorama roof panel has a sliding sun shade.

The books are with the car.

The trunk is clean and offers more storage space than you would think.

AS nice as the rest of the car is, the highlight is under the hood. The AMG built 5.5 liter Supercharged V8 is a marvel of automotive technology. Its rated at 493 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque. It is quick and powerful yet still runs very, very smooth. Brakes have been upgraded, and the suspension has been firmed up lightly, although the ABC suspension lets you tune it to your liking.

Terms of Sale

We are a licensed and bonded auto dealer in Florida.

Please read my description and all other information completely and view all the pictures carefully before you bid on this auction to ensure you are knowledgeable about the vehicle you are bidding on.

All of our vehicles are available for inspection and test drive, and we encourage you to do so. When buying a used car, one should expect a certain amount of wear, use and flaws that one would not expect from buying a new car. A vehicle that is 8 years old will show more wear than one that is 3 years old. etc, etc...ALL VEHICLES ARE SOLD AS IS unless otherwise noted.

Vehicles with remaining warranty must be handled between purchaser and new car dealer. We occasionally buy our cars from new car dealers, and in rare cases the dealer has to make a payoff to a finance company and wait for the title, which could be delayed up to 15 days.

As we are located In Florida, we are required to title a vehicle "Exempt" in miles if the car is 10 years or older. The miles listed is the actual reading from the cars odometer.  

 We do not reveal our reserve prices, sorry. Our reserve prices are set realistically, usually between wholesale and retail price. We prefer to see all auctions through to the end in order to get the best price for a vehicle. We are a dealer however, and all vehicles are for sale to the public. We therefore reserve the right to cancel all bids and end the auction early if the vehicle is sold. We reserve the right to cancel bids from those with excessive or net negative feed back.

Venue for any legal action such as claims, motions, litigation, settlements, or any legal action associated with this sale from either the buyer or seller is to take place in the State of Florida in Broward County. Placing your bid on this auction constitutes your agreement and acceptance of these terms and conditions.

Payment/Fees

 You may pay the purchase price in cash in person, with a cashiers or certified check or bank to bank wire transfer. Sorry, but we do not accept credit cards or Paypal.

If you are the winner, a 10% non-refundable deposit within 48 hours of the end of the auction is sufficient to hold the car until the remainder can be sent or car is picked up. If these forms of payment are not acceptable, please do not bid. Final payment is expected within five (5) days thereafter.
