As seen in the pictures down below this nice looking 2004 VW Beetle Convertible with only 73k miles has no major exterior damage. We picked this vehicle up as a vandalized vehicle. This vehicle was directly purchased from insurance auctions for resale in the condition you see it on the pics. No middle man involved. We have the salvage certificate of title (no-liens) at hand and ready to transfer to the new owner. Such vehicles can be legally returned back to the roads after repairs and your state motor vehicles inspection. Damaged areas are clearly shown in the pictures below. Overall exterior is as seen in the pictures with no major body damage. Right front fender has a crack and bumpers have some scuffs/scratches. The soft top has the seen cuts/slashes. Easily get a replacement soft top here on ebay. Ebay has several replacement Beetle Soft Tops listed for $650-800. See ebay listings 251013765574, 261166488881, or 310385599547. No damage to the interior or to the engine. Engine runs great! We test drove the vehicle on a side street and it drives normal. The quarter windows does not roll down, can hear the window motor running, windows possibly off track. The rest of the exterior in good condition. Has good looking tires. Interior is in tact and good condition. Has good looking clean tan leather seats. All airbags are good. All glass good. The great news is that the car starts, engine runs great, goes into gear and we are able to drive it on a side street. Overall should be a straight forward easy fixer with no real body work.

A SMALL NOTE ON SALVAGE VEHICLES

We specifically deal with light damaged or theft recovered salvage rebuildable vehicles. This vehicle was picked up from an insurance auction for resale. We directly purchase from insurance auctions and no middle man involved. Insurance companies usually salvage vehicles due to collision, theft, flood..etc. but this doesn't mean that they are beyond repair. In most cases its not the actual damage to the car that causes a vehicle to be salvaged but the circumstances under which they are declared salvage. For example, theft recovered vehicles are always salvaged since they are usually recovered after the owner is paid off by the insurance company. Or the owner might not want the vehicle after going through an accident even if the damages are light and easily repairable such as our cars. Whatever the case is these cars can easily be returned to the streets and that is why they're sold through auctions as repairable vehicles.

We have the salvage certificate of title (no-liens) in our possession and it will be re-assigned to the new owner to follow up with their state salvage process. Every state has its own salvage process and its usually filling out some forms and taking the car to an inspection after repairs (if any repairs are needed). Please check with your local motor vehicle center for the exact procedures and rules/regulations.
