Taxes and Fees
Out of State Buyers are not charged tax, title, or license. The customer is responsible for registering the vehicle in their home state.
Texas Buyers will be charged state and local taxes, title, registration.
All Vehicle Sales will be required to pay a $100 Documentation Fee, a $200 Internet Administration Fee, and the Texas Vehicle Inventory Tax (VIT). The VIT is based on .219 of the purchase price of the vehicle. (Example: $10,000 x .00219 equals $21.90)
Deposit
We require a $1,000 deposit within 24 hours of winning the auction. Please call the dealership to make arrangements for payment.
Buyer Pickup
A representative from Cornerstone can be available for pickup at both Dallas Love Field Airport and Dallas/Ft. Worth International Airport when necessary. Please schedule pickup with us prior to making travel arrangements.
Shipping
We can assist you in making arrangements to have your vehicle shipped anywhere in the world with several reputable shipping carriers that we use. Or we will be more than happy to work with any shipping carrier of your choice. All shipping expenses are the responsibility of the purchaser.
Title Information
Cornerstone Motor Company is a licensed and bonded Motor Vehicle Dealer in the State of Texas and guarantees a CLEAN and CLEAR title on all of our vehicles. Because of the volume of our business, there are times when the title may not be present at the time of delivery. While we usually have all titles in our possession, there are times when we may be waiting for them to arrive. In any event, titles will be delivered to our buyers in a timely fashion.
Notice to Buyers
Cornerstone Motor Company reserves the right to cancel bids and end an auction early in the event a vehicle is no longer available for sale. Our vehicles are available for driving on a daily basis, therefore mileage may vary from the listing description. If concerned, please call and inquire about exact mileage.
Governing Law; Venue
These Terms and Conditions will be construed in accordance with and governed exclusively by the laws of the State of Texas applicable to Terms and Conditions made among Texas residents and to be performed wholly within such jurisdiction, regardless of such parties actual domiciles. For purposes of these Terms and Conditions, both parties submit to personal jurisdiction in Dallas County, Texas and further agree that any cause of action arising under these Terms and Conditions or any other matter will be brought exclusively in a Dallas County, Texas court.
Auction Policies
Customers with zero or negative feedback on eBay Motors please contact us prior to bidding. Otherwise, we reserve the right to cancel your bid. Understand this is only to protect the integrity of the auction. Winning bidder must contact the dealership within 24 hours of the auction close with a $1,000 deposit, and the complete transaction must be completed within 5 calendar days. We reserve the right to re-list or sell the vehicle in the event of a non-paying bidder.
