This 1999 Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer 4x4 has 136 K miles, 4 previous owners and No Reported Accidents per the Auto Check report shown above.  This Expedition runs great and starts up everytime without any issues.  There are no warning lights lit on the dashboard whatsoever.  I test drove this Expedition for over 80 miles and it performed really nicely.  The 5.4 Liter Triton V8 engine runs and sounds great while accelerating.  The transmission also shifts perfectly smoothly throughout all gears which I demonstrate in the YouTube video above.  The wheel alignment is also straight on the SUV and the wheel doesn't pull to one side or the other while driving.  The brakes are also effective which I give several examples of during the test drive.  The suspension also feels great while going over bumps or making wide turns.  There are no odd noises or sounds coming from the vehicle while driving.  The interior features Power Windows, Power Locks, Power Mirrors, Power Drivers Seat (+ Lumbar), Sunroof, Compass/Temp Gauge, Cruise Control, Pioneer CD Player, Working Heat and A/C.  The Drivers side window control (for the drivers side window only) does not work, however all other window controls inside the vehicle are fully operational so it is most likely just an issue with the switch.  All other interior controls are working.  Also, the shifter is rather stiff when shifting from the Park position to Drive or Reverse however it does not effect how the vehicle drives once it is in gear.  It does NOT slip out of Park, which I tested multiple times to be sure.  This is very common on this type of Ford Shifter on similar year Fords.  All of the interior/exterior lights and signals are fully operational including the fog lights.  The inside of this Ford is very clean. There are no major stains anywhere.  There are some minor spots throughout the inside but nothing serious and certainly very normal for the year and miles. The upholstery and seats are also in great condition however there is a rip in the drivers seat which I point out in the pictures and video. The inside smells great as well. There are certainly no pet odors or smoke smells whatsoever and no burn holes.  The body of this Ford is in fair condition considering the year and miles.  There are several small dents and slight scratches.  There is some chipped paint on the front bumper and hood which I point out in great detail during the YouTube video and pictures.  There is some faded paint near the gas door which I also point out during the video.  There is also some rust underneath the passengers side door which I point out in the pictures/video.  The wheels are in good shape overall and the chrome looks great however one rear wheel is missing the center cap which is just cosmetic and serves no mechanical purpose whatsoever.  The tires have a decent amount of treadlife remaining which I point out in the video.  There is a spare/jack/wrench included. Although we do our best to describe these vehicles, these are previously owned vehicles and there is a possibility that we might overlook some appearance and mechanical details. We do our best to list any major defects in appearance or running condition. We require a valid drivers license before pickup/delivery.  We require insurance information if you will require a temporary tag to drive the vehicle home.  An out-of-state tag is good for 20 days, an NJ temp tag is good for 30 days and there is a fee for a temporary tag. Who Can Bid?

We welcome all registered eBay bidders to participate in our auctions as long as they have a PayPal account. While many sellers will not sell to International bidders, we do! We have completed many International transactions, not only just in Canada, but all over the world! Please be advised however that International bidders will have to arrange their own shipment of the vehicle out of the country, but we will help when we can.

What Should I Expect When Buying A Used Vehicle?

This is a reminder to all bidders. These vehicles are USED vehicles and are not new. Please expect a certain amount of wear, use, and flaws as is standard on ANY used car. All used cars including this one may have dings, nicks, chips, glass marks, fading, scratches, paintwork, accident history, rust, wheel or rim imperfections, or any other issues that are associated with use that is consistent with age and mileage of the vehicle. Obviously a car that is 10 years old will show more wear and have more flaws than one that is 2 years old. Since these vehicles are used, please remember that books, extra keys, remote entry keys, navigation discs, cd cartridges, etc...do not always remain with vehicles throughout their life. We will not be responsible for these minor accessories. These items are all replaceable at any local factory dealer, electronic store, or even on eBay.

How About The Vehicles History Report?

We often use these services to check a vehicles background. Carfax and Autocheck are wonderful services, but they have their limitations. Many times they will show more “owners” than we may state a vehicle has had. This is because they are an information service only. They have never seen the car, owned the car, and have no other information about the car than what is reported from different agencies. All of this information is originally hand entered into their databases at their source and mistakes and inconsistencies will occur! For example when a dealer such as ourselves purchases a vehicle they may pick it up as a new owner when this is of course not the case as dealers are not end users. Also they often contain mileage errors are inconsistencies that appear to make little sense. Just like any computer generated information report you need to know how to read the report & when to read between the lines. Having seen thousands of these over the years we can help you understand the information listed in these reports, just ask.


Can You Explain Your As-Is Warranty Policy?

All vehicles are being sold as-is, where is with no warranty, expressed or implied. The seller shall not be responsible for correctness of description, authenticity, genuineness, or defects herein, and makes no warranty in connection therewith. Any and all descriptions or representations are for identification purposes only and are not to be construed as a warranty of any type. Your bid is binding under applicable statute. The buyer assumes all responsibility for all defects known and unknown. The seller assumes no responsibility for any repairs, defects or damages pre-existing or otherwise regardless of any oral or written statements about the vehicle. The buyer has no right of rescission and is not entitled to any compensation for known or unknown, or disclosed, or undisclosed damage or repairs. Do n0t bid if you are not prepared to conclude your purchase. All information and comments contained within the vehicle listings are deemed reliable, but are not guaranteed. We try very hard to make sure they are as accurate as possible. If an option or feature is not listed in the ad or you do not see it in the pictures, then the vehicle most likely does not have that option or feature. Please take our video as a presentation only, it is supposed to serve as an informative look at the vehicle since most buyers are not capable or will choose not to come see the vehicle prior to bidding.  We do not want you to be unhappy with your purchase but at the same time you have to understand what "AS-IS" means. It means sold without warranty - no exceptions. Most cars are sold at wholesale prices, many way below book prices or on a retail car lot, often times thousands less. Therefore there is minimum profit at best and as such we can not afford to warranty the vehicle as if you had purchased it off a retail lot at full list price. Remember many of these cars are near a decade old or many have in excess of 100,000 miles so they may be new to you but that doesn’t change the fact that they are used cars and repairs can be needed at any time regardless of how short a time period you have owned the car. While we try to service any known defects it is still possible for used vehicles to need service or repairs the first days or weeks of ownership. All cars are used machines and used machines need general repairs on a regular basis many times without prior warning. This is especially true for name brand highline & exotic vehicles that have more elaborate features and systems. Also repairs are more common on say a 10 year old model car as opposed to a 2 or 3 year old model car since they cost significantly less than a newer car. Obviously the older the car the more possible this is of happening. What you have just read is basically common sense, but there are some people who don’t understand this so this is why we have spelled it out in plain English.

Can I Test Drive And Inspect The Vehicle?

YES!  We 100% encourage all bidders to come see, test drive and inspect the vehicle BEFORE they place a bid and before the auction ends.  Prospective bidders are always welcome to come view or arrange on site inspections of the vehicle they are interested in BEFORE the close of the auction. Once the auction has ended the vehicle is now considered sold and we do not permit any post sales inspections at that point. Of course if you are the winner of the auction you are always welcome to look over the car, test drive it, and make sure you are happy with it before taking delivery.

Will You End Auctions Early?

We reserve the right to end any auction early should we deem it necessary.  Many of our vehicles are for sale locally at our dealership and we reserve the right to sell vehicles that are listed.  Occasionally, but very rarely we have to end an auction early because we made an error in the vehicles options, description, warranty, or have a title issue. Also any bid retractions within the last half of the remainder of the auction are subject to be ended early at our discretion. We further reserve the right to refuse the sale of any vehicle to any bidder or buyer at our discretion should we deem it necessary. 

How Do I Pay For The Vehicle?

The balance of the purchase price MUST be paid for by cash in person, cashiers check (like you would get from most banks & credit unions), or bank wire transfer.  We will accept credit cards however you must call us for more information.  We do not accept personal checks, paypal, drafts, escrow services, or any other form of payment that is not expressly listed above. We work very hard to make the process go smoothly and quickly so just let us know upfront if you have any special needs so we can help out.  If you arrive to pick up your vehicle and do not have an acceptable form of payment you will be denied delivery of the vehicle. This means you will have to go home without the vehicle or stay overnight in New Jersey until acceptable payment is received.  Please do not let this happen to you, just follow our simple rules for payment to ensure a smooth delivery of your vehicle. These are the only forms of payment that we accept, so if they are not acceptable to you then please do n0t bid. Final payment must be made within 7 days of the close of the auction. There are no refunds or cancellations once payment has been made as all sales are final on all eBay related transactions.

What About The Deposit?

We require that a deposit be made to secure the transaction by the end of the next business day on each vehicle purchased. This means that if you win the auction for any given vehicle at 6:30 PM on a Monday night then the $500 deposit is due by 6:30PM the following night (Tuesday) . Each vehicle requires a $500 deposit. The deposit is to be made via PayPal only. If you do not have a PayPal account we will be happy work with you depending on each buyers unique situation. Should any buyer fail to make this deposit or to make other arrangements within the 24 hour period we reserve the right to offer or sell the vehicle to another bidder or buyer as we deem necessary. Also should the buyer fail to make this dep0sit or make other arrangements within 24 hours we reserve the right to cancel the transaction. If a buyer pays the dep0sit, but does not complete the transaction for any other reason, then the dep0sit is not refundable and becomes the property of Trade Zone.

Are There Any Additional Fees?

We charge a $185 Dealership Fee which pays for the representative who test drives and lists the vehicle, operating and listing costs, title and mailing costs, and detail services.  Dealers are NOT exempt from this fee.  No exceptions.  We are required to collect appropriate sales tax for New Jersey residents.  There is a nominal fee for a temporary tag as well.  Call us for details.

Do You Take Trade-Ins?

We do not accept trade ins on our auction sales due to the limitations of the auction process. 

How About Shipping?

We do not arrange shipping for any of our vehicles. Vehicle shipping is the responsibility of the buyer of the vehicle. You are welcome to use any transporter you choose to come pick up the vehicle from our dealership. If you do not have a transporter we may be able to suggest one for you.  We do not take vehicles to shipping terminals or shipping ports. All vehicles must be picked up at the dealership during regular business hours Monday - Saturday. Pricing and delivery times are between you and your shipper. Average shipping time is 5 - 15 days depending on many different factors.

What I Exceed The 7 Day Period?

We have limited space at both of our dealerships and should the buyer not contact us to make prior arrangements of a late pickup we DO charge storage fees of $25 per day. 

Do I Need lnsurance?

In order for us to issue you a temporary tag we will need proof of lnsurance (Policy # and Issuer Name).  lnsurance is required by the buyer once the vehicle is paid in full.

Lastly But Most Importantly

By bidding on the above vehicle or by purchasing the above vehicle, bidder / buyer acknowledges all eBay rules and the rules and regulations as stated in this listing by Trade Zone Auto Sales. By placing your bid you accept all rules as listed above and understand there are no refunds or cancellations, as your bid is a legal and binding agreement, (as stated in the eBay User Guidelines).

With All of that said, We are very fair and honest and full disclosure of known issues is our full intention.  We are not looking to mislead anyone.  We operate on very little profit since these vehicles are sold at a Wholesale Price often times thousands below what a retail dealership or KBB would value the car for, so were not looking for problems while making a modest return on a cheap car.  Our Listings include far more information than the typical Ebay Motors Auction - Every listing we create has over 80 pictures, an In-Depth Video which shows the vehicles being driven and described and a hand written description - No three word phrases.  We road test and note any obvious defects or noises in the listing and video as best we can.  Our listing representatives have been test driving cars for the better part of five years - so they are pretty good at pointing out obvious issues.  Things that cannot be heard, seen, or felt by our listing agent is not our responsibility.  If we make repairs to a vehicle prior to listing it we will note that in our listing. If there is a repair that needs to be made to a car you are purchasing please do not assume we "knew" about it. These cars are in many cases around a decade old and we do not have the wear items checked by a mechanic (brake pads, rotors, etc.) If you do not want to pay for repairs - inspect the car before bidding or have a 3rd Party make sure the car you purchase will pass your states inspection - which we do not guarantee - In New Jersey we test for emissions ONLY!  We operate on very minimal profit on these vehicles and we do not want anyone to be unhappy - But understand that we are NOT mechanics and this is NOT a certified pre owned vehicle. Please read our feedback as most everyone has been satisfied - Most of our buyers are prepared to buy a used car - We encourage buyers to leave us good feedback and we will happily do the same!  Please - If you are having the vehicle shipped and you do not come to inspect the vehicle prior to bidding do not expect a new car to arrive.  It may be new to you, but it's still a used car and anything can go wrong while the car is being transported.  Negative reviews from buyers who do not take the due diligence to have the vehicle inspected by a 3rd party prior to bidding in order to satisfy themselves with the car they bid on, purchase, and ship half way accross the country hold very little merit and can be easily disputed in our defense.  Repairs are to be expected, especially if you want your used car to be like new.  If you are not happy with your purchase LET US KNOW before you leave feeback - There may be something we can do to help.  THANK YOU~~~
