Super rare El Camino equipped with 396 Big Block from the factory. All correct factory colors, codes, etc. Marina Blue over black interior with black vinyl roof. Restored and currently in excellent shape with laser straight, rust free body. Restored professionally including set of all new floor boards professionally installed. Otherwise, exterior and body very clean, straight and rust free. All new chrome, emblems, windshield, vinyl roof, top notch paint refinish looks like glass. Complete new interior including new seat upholstery, new carpet, headliner, visors, dash pad, complete gauge refurbish and reinstall. New paint in interior at the same time the exterior was painted, perfect match. The car also had A/C installed from the factory (not currently installed).
Mechanically we have a very strong running stock 396/325hp block (correctly coded EV suffix code for 1967 396ci engine rated at 325 horsepower equipped with A/C) with original intake and heads. Has original TH400 transmission and 12 bolt posi-traction rear with factory installed rear sway bar (for big block cars only). car is FAST!! Runs and drives better than many Chevelle SS396 cars valued at $50k+. Only a few hundred of these big block El Caminos were produced and there were no SS396 El Caminos in 1967. 1st year was 1968 different body style. Many El Camino enthusiasts agree that the 1967 396 El Camino is one of the best ever El Caminos ever offered and definately the best among the ever popular 1st generation, square bodies.
