Up for sale we have a 1972 Chevy Chevelle SS. This was the last year for this body style. It did not change much from the ’71 with only minor changes to the grill and parking lights. The one we are offering is a nice big block 4 Speed Chevelle. In the paragraphs to follow we will give a brief description of the exterior, interior, and heartbeat of the Chevy, but first we would like to tell you a little about us.
Smoky Mountain Traders is a classic car dealer in east Tennessee. We are family owned, operated, and own our entire inventory, no consignments, and only deal in muscle cars and vintage auto. You can count on us to have 50 to 60 cars at all times. We don’t have a big show room that our customers would otherwise pay for. So, that’s how we can sell for less than other dealers. We will start off with the exterior of the Chevelle. When you look down the sides you can see they did a nice job when this car was restored. It has good lines with good fit of the panels. The bumpers and other chrome was replaced at the time of the resto. The weather stripping was also replaced. It has the Steel Cowl Hood with the Correct Emblems. It also has the dual Mirrors. The black stripes accent the Cranberry red Paint well. The paint on this Chevelle looks good and we believe it to have been painted about 5 years ago. It has a deep rich shine that is slick to the touch. The final exterior touch is the set of 18” and 20” American Racing Wheels with New Tires.
Next, we will take a look at the interior of the ’72. Everything on the inside complements the exterior perfectly. It’s done in classic black with bucket seats and console with a Hurst Shifter. It has the round gauge dash. A set of aftermarket gauges were added under the dash. The interior looks very good with a good dash pad and carpet. It has a tilt column and a vintage Radio.
Finally, we will take a look at the heartbeat of the Chevy. Under the hood it’s powered by a ’69 Model 396 Big Block that is hooked to a Muncie 4 Speed Trans and 10 Bolt Rear End. It has an aluminum intake with a Holley Carb, Chrome Valve covers and breather. The exhaust flows though as set of headers and 3” Flow master Exhaust. To keep it cool it has a 4 core radiator. The steering is power as well as have Power Disc Brakes. All the inner fenders and firewall is painted to match the outside of the car. Under this Chevelle it has front and rear sway bars. When you look at the floors they look good with no visible signs of any damage.

Mileage
Unless the car is advertised as an original Mileage car do not assume that the Mileage/Odometer reading is the actual mileage. It is simply what the odometer is reading at the time of the pictures. IT IS NOT ACTUAL MILEAGE UNLESS STATED SO IN DESCRIPTION.
Terms and Conditions
Winning bidder must contact us within 24 hours of auction end, and make arrangements for payment at that time. A $1000.00 non-refundable deposit is due within 48 hours of end of auction. The remainder is due within 5 days of auction end. If no contact is made within 24 hours we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle, sell it to the next high bidder, or sell it otherwise. Most banks and credit unions do not finance vehicles older than 1995 or with more than 100K miles. Make sure if financing that your financial institution accepts the year and miles of this vehicle before bidding. Please arrange financing prior to bidding.
Buyer is responsible for pickup or shipping of this vehicle. If you wish to have it shipped using a service, we will gladly cooperate. You can locate shippers by doing a search for `auto shippers`.
