This two-owner beauty has had the same owner since 1961. She has always been garage kept and went through a complete frame-off, nut & bolt, professional restoration in 1998. She is an Exceptional Vehicle that is looking for someone who will love her as much as her last owner did.

An updated interior combined with her short-wheelbase chassis, 116 in (2946 mm), found on the '57 Ford Custom and Station Wagon lines, gives you a smooth and comfortable ride.

This unique vehicle debuted in 1956 as the original "car-truck".
The Ranchero's sleek looks, ease of operation, utility of a light pickup and riding characteristics of a full size car, made her a hit with both the automotive press and the buying public.

She is the higher optioned "Custom 300" model, which features attractive body side molding, two-tone paint, and luxury interior trim options.

Patterned after the '57 Fairlane, this beauty has the Classic '57 Ford look with her single-headlight front end and her unmistakable long flanks and tailfins.

Her Professional, Frame-Off Restoration was completed in the 90's with attention paid to every detail.

MECHANICAL:

Her Powerful, Rebuilt, 1963, Thunderbird H.O. 390 CID (6.4L) 340+ hp V8 engine replacing her original, adequate 292 CID (4.8 L) 212 hp Thunderbird V8, turns over with gusto with an Electric Fuel Pump and 4 barrel 600cfm Autolite 4100 carburetor.
Her Thunderbird 390 engine is mated to her matching, Rebuilt, '63 T-bird, 3-Speed Automatic, "Cruise-o-matic" Transmission.

Check under her dash and you will find two switches. One is for the Electric Fan and the other is for the Electric Fuel Pump.
You never have to worry about overheating or cold starts, the previous owner was a professional antique vehicle restorer and he thought of everything!
He even put a kill switch on the battery. Combine that with the Hood Latch Release under the dash and you can leave your worries behind.

She has an updated Rack & Pinion Power Steering system for easy handling, Power brakes on her 4 wheel drums and a rebuilt Open Differential Rear End from the 63 T-bird.

Her gentle Purr in idle and her delicious Growl when revved will have you smiling every time you hear it.

EXTERIOR:

This Exceptional Ranchero has all Original body panels, hood, grille, bumpers, mouldings, tailgate, and side view mirrors.
She has never been in an accident or had any rust issues.
She even has all her original floor pans and sheet metal!

Visibility is Excellent in this '57 with all new Glass.
Even the wrap around windshield and weather stripping were replaced during her Frame- Off Restoration.
Her New Sun Visors are a Tinted See-through plastic that won't diminish visibility while driving into the sunset.

From her Optional Front Bumper Guards to her "Longhorn" tailgate emblem, this baby has the perfect amount of chrome trim and all in nice condition.
Contrasting nicely with her abundant Chrome Accents is her beautiful black PPG paint.

Her interior was tastefully restored to be Functional and still retain that 50's look.

Her seating has been upgraded to a sumptuous Power Bench Seat in an understated Blue- Grey Vinyl/Cloth and Chrome with a fold down center armrest.

New Power window hardware, "SelectAire" Air Conditioning, and upgraded radio were added to further enhance the driving experience, along with shoulder seat belts for upgraded safety.
