Kenny Brown has been designing performance Mustangs for
nearly 30 years, and this car is a perfect example of why he’s still in
business today. This car was brought straight from the selling dealer to Kenny
Brown to undergo its conversion. At a cost of over $19,000, Kenny Brown pulled
out all the stops for this one.
A Vortech supercharger was installed, with all the proper
modifications to make it work on the 32V 4.6L V8. Then, a specially designed
Kenny Brown independent rear suspension setup was installed along with custom
subframe bracing. They also went with custom wheels, and another KB designed
piece, the “rear steer kit” that is designed to correct the car’s handling
performance at the limit on the race track. In other words: this car was made
to go fast – safely and accurately.
How fast? Fast to the tune of 400 horsepower at the rear
wheels. On October 4, 2001, the car was run on the dyno and it returned an
impressive 399.9 RWHP. That’s a huge increase over a stock Cobra.
This is, effectively, a race car Mustang designed for the
street. You get 400 horsepower to the wheels, a power convertible top, air
conditioning, power steering, and of course, a comfortable two-tone tan leather
interior. The interior is in fantastic condition, and it should be: this Cobra
only has 11,834 miles on the odometer. The Mach 460 audio system sounds great, and
a 6-disc CD changer ensures that you’ll have music for any long drive. There’s
also carbon fiber overlays around the instrument cluster, center stack, and
window switches.

The amount of time it takes for delivery is dependent on the carrier, but is generally 7-14 days from the date the vehicle is picked up from our facility until it is delivered to your destination. Verify with the shipper for an Estimate Time of Arrival to be sure.
Finalizing your Purchase:
Blue Marlin Motors will contact the successful high bidder by e-mail or phone after the auction closes.
Successful high bidder MUST communicate with Blue Marlin Motors by e-mail or phone 772-678-4300 within 24 hours of the auction ending to make arrangements to complete their transaction. If we cannot confirm your intention to buy or the sale is not completed within 5 days, we reserve the right to relist this vehicle or sell to any other qualified buyer.
In order to secure bid on vehicle, Successful bidder (BUYER) must within 24 hours of bid closing send to Seller a non-refundable Deposit in the amount of 10% by major credit card, cash in person or bank certified funds. Within 72 hours of bid closing, Buyer must send balance of funds by bank wire transfer, cash in person, bank certified funds to Seller.
At time of sending initial deposit, Buyer MUST fax copy of their State issued valid Driver License. Furthermore, before said vehicle is released for shipment to Buyer, all other Sale related and title related paperwork must be signed and returned complete to Seller.
