Welcome to streetdreamstexas online auction.  We are celebrating our 15th year in the classic and collectible car business.  Through all the economies ups and downs it seems that vintage cars and trucks are the best and most fun place to have your money stored.  Every once in a while we get a great 57 Ford Fairlane 500. Ninety nine percent of the time they are convertibles in original condition. This is a tastefully lightly modified 2 dr Hardtop that has some very nice upgrades but not over the top. It retains a stock body with no trim or chrome deleted and no major body modifications. Though not a high dollar show finish the body and paint show very well especially with the classic two tone treatment. All of the glass and trim are very nice. There is some distortion on the rear bumper but not really enough to mess with. The nice looking bench seat interior continues the two tone treatment with a combination of vinyl and cloth. I has seat belts, a stock steering wheel, good carpet, door panels, and headliner. The dash is uncut. The original Y block motor was replaced with a later model 302 V-8 with a two barrel carburetor, custom dress up kit, and dual exhaust. It fires right up and runs smooth and strong. The motor compartment is nicely detailed and shows well. The shiny compressor is for the brand new Vintage AC system that was just installed. It blows cold R-134 air. Nice! The chassis is clean and shows very well also with smooth pans, painted hardware, gas shocks, and rides on Coy C-5 17 inch wheels with Gun Metal finish. They look totally retro but feature modern hoops. The larger diameter wheels with radial tires sure makes this ole fifties Ford ride and handle much better. The power steering and disc brakes help also. The trunk is finished with a stock mat and full size spare. If you like a 57 Ford Hardtop but want some subtle upgrades this is the car for you. We are a small family owned local business.  Street Dreams has been in business for 14 years.  We started in August of 1999 in Shreveport, La and Brenham, Texas.  2001 We combined those two operations and moved to Sugar Land, Texas.  We were there for 5 years.  We then decided to relocate to the beautiful Fredericksburg, Texas nestled in the Texas Hill country which we have been here for over 7 years.  We own over 50 units at most all times.  We own our building as well.  We do not do too many consignments like most classic car dealerships.  We have sold cars and trucks all over the world.  We can assist with all aspects of shipping.
