This El Camino is fresh from the paint shop, painted in its original Marina Blue color and looks fantastic. The body was and is very solid all around and needed very little body work and had very, very little rust. The frame and the undercarriage is very solid, all original and clean. This is a factory a/C car but there is no compressor but all the vents etc. are all there and all work. This El Camino starts right up, sounds great and drives very well at all speeds. the Motor is a 350 and not the original motor, built with a new manifold and carb, it runs very strong. The transmission is a 350 turbo trans and shifts great too, no slips or surges. The drum brakes stop well but are a little touchy, the front suspension is lowered a bit but drives straight and true. the rear is solid and can hold a load just fine. The interior is painted and clean. Was upholstered a few years ago and still looks ok. The seat, door panels and headliner all have matching cloth in nice condition. The carpet is aftermarket and has no tears or rips. The dash is pretty nice too, older, but all there. The gauges all work except the clock, lights, wipers and radio work fine. the climate control and fan all work, but no A/C since there is no a/c compressor hooked up. The hard part is all finished....This El Camino looks sweet and will be enjoyed for a lifetime. Great year and hard to find! Make an offer sooner than later, don't miss this one.
