You are bidding on a very cool well documented numbers matching 1967 Camaro SS. This car is documented with the original Protect-O-Plate, Original Owner’s Manual, Accessories Booklet, Local Delivered Price Hanger, and was the Featured Cover Car in Camaro Corral Magazine! This Camaro also has won the Gold Bowtie Award and was a 1967 Silver Anniversary Award Winner when it was first restored. This Camaro also has ownership history and lots of receipts from work done over the years. The original owner of the car ordered it while he was stationed in Japan and took delivery in Missouri. The next group of owners were all from Missouri as well. In 1983 the car was given to a 16 year old girl from St. Louis as a first car. She was the 5th owner. A few years later her and her husband restored the car finishing it around 1990. The car was then sold through Fast Lane Cars and eventually made its way to Massachusetts in the 2000’s. The current owner purchased this Camaro in 2006 where he has garaged and cared for it ever since. According to the magazine article this was a rust free and accident free car so the body has remained in very good shape over the years. The Bolero Red paint shows well and still shines nicely. There are a couple bubbles in the paint after 24 years but nothing horrible. The interior looks good. The front seats were redone at some point. The carpet was replaced. It has faded a little since then. The dash looks great. The headliner is in nice condition and the door panels are in good condition. It features a fold down rear seat too! The numbers matching engine was rebuilt to stock specs by Florissant Performance Center of St. Louis, MO. The current owner added a Weiand aluminum intake, Holley double pumper carb, and a set of coated headers. The original manifold, carb (newly rebuilt) and exhaust manifolds are included. This Camaro runs strong and drives incredibly well. The steering is nice, the disc brakes stop fine.
