History

The fourth generation Ford F-Series was aline of pickup trucks and commercial trucks produced from 1961 to 1966 by FordMotor Company. Sleeker and wider than its predecessor, the new F-Seriesintroduced several firsts to the truck line. In Canada, the F-Series continued tobe distributed by Mercury dealers as the M-Series.

An all-new Twin I-Beam front suspensionwas introduced with coil springs; 1965-1966 F-Series trucks are distinguished a"TWIN I-BEAM" emblem on the front fender.  In 1965, the 300cistraight six was introduced. It had 7 main bearings and timing gears. The 300six would remain in the F-Series lineup until the end of the 1996 model year.

The previous owner of this beautiful truckpurchased it ten years ago. He believed it spent most of its life in California. The truck hashad a ground up restoration. He spent 8 years restoring it but didn’t completeit due to illness, and eventually he passed away. His grandkids sealed it in abubble and it sat for two years. The truck was almost never driven. They tookall the proper steps in winterizing the engine so there would not be anycorrosion. His wife decided to start selling some of his things because shewanted them to be enjoyed. She wanted his truck to be seen.
