Own one of the most popular Viper models ever produced. The 1996 GTS in Blue with white stripes. The GTs was the first viper offered with a fixed roof, power glass windows, polished aluminum wheels and lots of extra upgrades that the 1st generation Viper did not offer. This car enabled Dodge to compete with other "Supercars" that were more user friendly. The raw horse power and torque of the V-10 was notched up to 450hp for the GTS and now one could use it as a daily commuter car. With an improved air and water tight cabin, the AC was more efficient and the cabin was quieter than the previous model RT/10 which could only be used for recreational trips or to bounce around town. The GTS was accepted with open arms by the sports car enthusiasts around the globe and was critically renowned in all the publications at the time. Apparently, the Blue ones are much more popular than the red ones that came out in 97 and the silver and black ones that arrived in the late 90's. After all, these were the only ones offered with those "GTS" stripes that we all went gaga over! This car is an excellent example of a low mileage, well cared for Viper GTS. It is very clean inside and out and has a handful of popular, bolt-on upgrades. Otherwise it is completely stock. No internal engine modifications. No past or current major issues.
