  You are bidding on an City owned and operated, 2003 Chevy C2500 regular cab 2 wheel-drive pickup with a nice animal control/dog catcher bed on it.  The truck has been in a suburb of Dallas it's entire life.  The truck is powered by the strong 6.0 liter V-8 engine and automatic overdrive transmission.  The current miles are 152,219.  Carfax verifies the clean title and actual mileage on this one (click the CARFAX emblem below the pictures to see the entire report for free).  PLEASE LOOK AT THE 100 PICTURES I HAVE POSTED BELOW OF THIS TRUCK.  IT IS NOT A WORN OUT VEHICLE AT ALL.  The exterior of the truck is very clean and straight.  The paint is still very shiny and bright.  There are a few minor chips and scratches, as you would expect, but nothing major.  The carfax shows a minor accident on the left rear (PLEASE SEE PICTURES WITH MY FINGER IN THEM.  YOU CAN SEE JUST HOW MINOR IT WAS).   Being that it was owned by the city, they have to report even the minorest of incidents.  The tires have about 80% tread on the front and 60% on the rear.  They are wearing evenly and smoothly.  The interior of the truck shows very little wear.  There are no holes or tears in the vinyl bucket seats, rubber flooring or headliner.  The truck originally had a center seat, but that was removed for the computer and radio to fit there.  The base for the center seat is still there.  If you want a seat installed before you take delivery, I can get one for 200 dollars.  I figured alot of the people that will buy the truck would need it for the same reason or want to install a center console there.  The truck appears to have NEVER been smoked in.  There are no burns, smells or ashes in the truck.  The interior also has a Whelen traffic direction unit inside.  This controls the lights mounted at the rear of the bed.  There are also controls for the rear bed A/C unit, rear flood lights and front and rear strobe lights.  THESE ALL STAY WITH THE TRUCK WHEN SOLD.  The bed was made by Deerskin Manufacturing.  They make the premier bed for this type of purpose.  The bed is made of aluminum and the frame of galvanized dipped steel tubing.  These beds are insulated top and bottom.  The A/C unit has it's own compressor mounted on the engine. There are locking t-handles on each compartment.  There are 6 animal compartments and one large storage compartment.  NOTE: PLEASE LOOK AT THE OPTIONS LISTINGS BELOW FOR ALL THE MEASUREMENTS.  The compartments all have a/c vents and the top half of all the compartments are mesh to allow air circulation.  The doors all have manual vents you can open on them as well.  I do have the key that opens all the locks.  The bed has a Whelen traffic direction unit and strobes front and rear.  There are also two rear facing flood lights.  Everything works properly on the bed. 

   This city takes extremely good care of their units.  I have purchased over 20 of their vehicles in the last 6 years.  STILL, I have had the vehicle inspected by a mechanic. He found it to be in good mechanical shape with only normal wear. I have had the filters, fluids and belts all inspected and serviced as needed.  This truck has been extremely well serviced and it shows.  Don't let the mileage fool you on this one.  You have a heavy duty truck and motor that basically drove around at 35 mph all over the neighborhoods.  The truck has NO leaks, NO drips and does NOT smoke.  It has brand new shocks, new belts, new oil change, new rear brakes and the rear a/c unit was just serviced and recharged.  The transmission shifts out solidly and smoothly.  The truck was also just serviced and inspected by a front-end shop.  All they did was do an alignment on it (I do that to everything I sell).  The truck has no wobbles or shakes at 70 mph on the freeway.  THIS TRUCK IS READY TO BE DRIVEN ANYWHERE AND BE PUT TO WORK OR BE ENJOYED.  All the electronic equipment works like new. The air conditioning is ice cold and the heater warm and toasty. There are just no known problems with this vehicle.  The pictures of the underneath show you the normal road dust and the fact that there is NO RUST.
