1933 FORD ROADSTER STREET ROD

    

In a few words...

Fresh car (600 miles), excellent driver. Based on Coast to Coast’ reproduction of Foose/Delay 2000 AMBR winner (Richard Berg’s  IMPACT). Coast to Coast body and frame rails (fully boxed and  triangulated xmembers - see chassis construction picture).

Custom M2 geometry IFS (Wilwood brakes & spindles- r&p steering) & 8.8’’ custom IRS (3.27- from 1997 XR7 Cougar). 4WDB. Air Ride E3 system, Shock Wave coil-overs front, Firestone bellows in back. 116’’ wheelbase.

Ford 351W HO (from ‘84 Bronco) + rebuilt C4 automatic with oil cooler + aluminium driveshaft. Engine is stock bore & stroke, but with new bearings & rings, timing chain, oil pump, oil pan, gaskets and seals. Edelbrock aluminium heads, hiflow wp, Performer intake & cam, new Holley 660 4V. CompCam roller tipped rockers, Hedman block hugger headers,March clear anodized polished alum. pulleys. Polished valve covers and chrome 14’’ air filter, tru-frame exhausts, glass pack mufflers, Stainless Specialties polished square exhaust tips. Custom built 4 rows aluminium radiator & catchcan with 16’’pusher thermostatic electric fan and completely tunneled air intake ducting. High output chromed alternator. Absolutely no component hanging below frame level. Mustang 18’’ mags + new Goodrich KDW’s (215-40 &    245-40). 

Car has laminated safety glass windshield (DOT approved), custom owner built extra light removable (30 secs.) one-piece top with Lexan rr window, halogen headlights & led front mini flashers, third stop light integrated to body reveal, tail/stop/directional lights mounted in rr under pan. Custom built black mesh and tubular chrome surround grille. Power trunk lid, 15 gal. aluminum gas tank & battery hidden in bulkhead (with emergency booster connection). Ididit tilt steering column. Custom built color-coordinated console, arm rests and under dash panel (housing 2 speed heater’s ducts, Air Ride control panel and Ford Premium Sound AM/FM radio with 4 hidden speakers. Seats are well bolstered Ford SVT OEM midnight blue velour, with ultra leather color-coordinated molded door, kick, trunk and bulkhead panels. Custom mini mirrors on windshield posts+ central oval mirror.
 
Short pile color-coordinated carpet on floor, tunnel and trunk. AirRide compressor, aluminum tank and manifold hidden under trunk    floor. Three shallow storage compartments under trunk carpet. Ron Francis component panel & switches (panel behind dash) + Dakota digital dash. All switches +12V accessory socket discretely hidden by custom console swing-away panel. Switched courtesy lights under dash and in trunk. Hidden main electrical cut-off switch and gas cut-off valve. 

This rod is a crowd pleaser. Never ran over 205F even in extreme summer heat or standstill traffic (electric fan kicks in at 176F). Air Ride  is very comfortable. Tracks, steers, brakes & rides as the best of them! 

Car is in shiny gellcoat. Top, headlights and mini mirrors are painted matching shade of bright urethane yellow (most people don’t even notice it’s gellcoat!) Enjoy as-is, or finish paint to suit your taste. Frame, powertrain and suspension are dark blue urethane, and are totally molded/finished. Extra remaining yellow & blue paint + ultra leather included. 

Wiring is in place for installing wiper motor and control switch if desired. 

Currently registered and driving. Inspected by Quebec DMV, registered as a 1933 Ford.

Payment  by wire transfer within  7 days of auction close. Of course, serious bidders only. Full payment before shipping the vehicule or before to trailer or drive it back home.  I like to keep my customers happy as you can tell by my feedback profile. The vehicule is not mine, I am  listing it for a  reputable local Rod  builder and businessman.

All sales are FINAL. You can come over and inspect the car if you wish though, we have a local airport (YQB) and I can pick you up.  We sold  90+ cars on eBay now and  it has been a smooth  ride.  I can give  references on request.

For Folks  outside CANADA - Please  read

We cannot ship it to USA  through a transporter  because of some  regulations so it would  have to be driven or  trailered by your own if you wanted.  No problem shipping to  Canada. Other countries  buyers should verify admissibility first.

SHIPPING TERMS

Shipping enclosed will range from 800$ to 2300$  in Canada - distance and  location (remote or  city) makes the price  vary a lot so please  inquire if you want to get a rough idea. I will  help with shipping oversea as well and  deliver it to the port  you will determine is  best for you. Sea freight fees vary depending on locations  too of course, you  should give somewhere  between 4000 and 5000$ for most destinations including cargo insurance, blocking and bracing, container freight and customs  paperwork. Of course, you can trailer it back home if you want, it needs to be paid up front though. Driving back is also  possible, will give you  the details if you want  to look at that option.
