1968 Plymouth GTX

History

The Plymouth GTX was introduced as the Belvedere GTX in 1967 bythe Plymouthdivision to be a "gentleman's" muscle car. In 1968, after one year ofproduction, the GTX was given a completely new look. A new hourglass bodyreplaced the more box-like body of 1967. The Road Runner was introduced by Plymouth as a performanceversion of the Belvedere. There were major changes made in the design of allthe PlymouthB-bodies. The GTX used the Sport Satellite trim and was offered in two models,the two-door convertible and the two-door hardtop.

Car was bought in 2004 out of Michigan at a car show. Vehicle went throughan 8 year restoration process. Car has been meticulously taken care of andgarage kept in a controlled environment.  Everything was replaced with New“Year One” Parts. This car is believed to be an original 440 car. Less than 100Miles on the Restoration
