For sale by owner is this beautiful '62 Impala convertible.  This Impala is a very nice combination of a completely stock original, with some cosmetic and mechanical restoration as needed.  Please let all the pictures load, (there are over 120) to see the beautiful condition of this classic Chevy,  The odometer shows 78,460 miles and is believed to be correct (based on the condition, especially the underside, we would agree) but is being sold as exempt because of the age. The car had a cosmetic restoration completed in 2007 including a professional repaint in Roman Red, a brand new interior including seat covers, seat pads, door panels and carpeting. It also has a new convertible top new tires and wheel covers.  The engine and transmission are original with general maintenance done over the years, we don't know if they have been rebuilt. The undercarriage is exceptionally solid and clean with no issues. The car has power steering, power top and an AM radio. The gauges, lights, signals, heat, radio and power top are fully operational.

The 283 engine starts right up, the car runs great and it is now ready for a new owner.

     Please remember that this car is 52 years old and not perfect. The top needs some help going up & down and probably needs a new motor, it needs a new radio antenna, the paint has some very minor imperfections too small to see in the photos and it needs drain plugs for the trunk.
