This Super Sport Nova was just treated to a complete driver-quality repaint in the factory Cranberry Red. With a nice wetsand & buff the finish has a nice deep luster. Tons of new moldings & trim items have been installed and this Nova Shines! The mileage was reported to us as original at 71.5k, the condition of the original components would support it, though there was no documentation to verify this provided.
Properly equipped and reported to be an original SS, this Nova is equipped with a correctly coded 12-Bolt SS specific differential. The SS required Power Front Disc Brakes are factory components as well. The exhaust too is believed to be the original transverse muffler system.
The 350 engine, though not the numbers matching, is a HD suffix 69 350. It still wears an original cast iron 4 Barrel Intake Manifold & Quadra-Jet Carburetor, Rare Dual Snorkel Air Cleaner and original cast iron exhaust manifolds. A set of factory finned aluminum valve covers have been installed and trim out the engine compartment nicely. The engine runs well and presents like a bone stock 350.
The 4-Speed Muncie is a hugely desirable option, especially when shifted through a Rare Factory Console. It goes into gear easily and shifts well.
The 12-Bolt Rear Differential is a sure-fire indicator of an SS for '71 and earlier Novas. This one wears a BM stamping indicating a 3.31 ratio open differential. It appears to have all the factory 'as installed' components along with the correct Multi-Leaf Spring Pack.
