Up for sale we have a 1977 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am. In ’77 Pontiac gave the T/A a new look with an all new grill. The one we have for you is a factory 4 Speed car with the matching # Engine and done in the factory color scheme. In the paragraphs to follow we will give a brief description of the exterior, interior, and driveline of the Pontiac, but first we would like to tell you a little about us.

Smoky Mountain Traders is a classic car dealer in east Tennessee. We are family owned, operated, and own our entire inventory, no consignments, and only deal in muscle cars and vintage auto. You can count on us to have 50 to 60 cars at all times. We don’t have a big show room that our customers would otherwise pay for. So, that’s how we can sell for less than other dealers. We will start off with the exterior of the T/A. It’s nice with a solid body and good lines. It has the correct shaker hood and spoilers. It has good fit of the panels and everything is covered in the Sterling Silver Paint that is accented by the Red Stripes and the Gray and Red Birds. The paint as a whole is good but is not perfect. All the glass and weather stripping looks good. The final exterior touch is the correct Honey Comb Wheels that are done in Silver with a set of BFG tires.

Next, we will take a look at the interior of the ’77. Everything on the inside is done in all black which was the factory color scheme. It has the correct bucket seats and console with what appears to be the correct 4 Speed Shifter. The seats appear to have been recovered as well as new carpet installed. When you look at the dash it looks good with a nice dash pad and the radio being changed.

Finally, we will take a look at the driveline of the Pontiac. Under the hood it’s Powered by a Matching # 400 V8 that is mated to 4 Speed Borg Warner with the stock 10 Bolt Rear End. The engine looks as it would have in ’77. It has chrome valve covers and the stock breather. It has the Standard Power Steering and Power Brakes with disc up front. When you look under this ride all the floor pans appear solid as well as the frame rails.

Unless the car is advertised as an original Mileage car do not assume that the Mileage/Odometer reading is the actual mileage.  It is simply what the odometer is reading at the time of the pictures.  IT IS NOT ACTUAL MILEAGE UNLESS STATED SO IN DESCRIPTION.
