Up for sale we have a 1962 Chevy Pick Up. This was a one family owned Pick Up from GA until it was taken to NC for the resto work. The Chevy has a matching #s engine with Power Steering. It’s a fresh resto that was taken all apart to be done. There are a few pictures of the resto, but we have more that will go with the car. In the paragraphs to follow we will give a brief description of the exterior, interior, and heartbeat of the Chevy, but first we would like to tell you a little about us.

Smoky Mountain Traders is a classic car dealer in east Tennessee. We are family owned, operated, and own our entire inventory, no consignments, and only deal in muscle cars and vintage auto. You can count on us to have 50 to 60 cars at all times. We don’t have a big show room that our customers would otherwise pay for. So, that’s how we can sell for less than other dealers. We will start off with the exterior of the Pick Up. As we said this is a fresh resto that was pulled apart and redone. Everything is covered in the Cardinal Red Paint that is accented by the Pure White Top and inlay in the chrome. All the glass was pulled out and what was bad was replaced with new seals and trim installed. The bed was striped and they left the steel floor that was added before the resto. The stainless looks very good. The grill and bumpers have been painted to give it some more accent. The final exterior touch is the new 20” American Racing Wheels on the Corners.

Next, we will take a look at the interior of the ’62. Everything on the inside is all new and done in the stock style. The seat is covered in vinyl. As for the dash and the metal trim it’s painted in beige that provides a nice complement to the exterior. The Steering column and instrument cluster, however, is painted in white that flows the exterior and interior together nicely.

Finally, we will take a look at the heartbeat of the Chevy. Under the hood it’s stock with the numbers matching 283 V8 that is mated to a 700R4 Trans. It retains the stock 2 Barrel Carb and breather. The brakes have been upgrade with disc up front and it does have Power Steering. It retains the stock rear end as well as the Torsion bar Front End. They kept the exhaust simple with stock manifolds and single exhaust. The frame and floors of the cab all appear solid.

Unless the car is advertised as an original Mileage car do not assume that the Mileage/Odometer reading is the actual mileage.  It is simply what the odometer is reading at the time of the pictures.  IT IS NOT ACTUAL MILEAGE UNLESS STATED SO IN DESCRIPTION.
