   You are bidding on a very nice low-mileage, government owned and serviced, 2002 Ford F-550 regular cab 2WD pickup with a dump bed.  The truck has only 70,774 miles on it.  Carfax verifies the clean title and actual mileage on this one (click the CARFAX emblem below the pictures to see the entire report for free).  The truck was owned by a city in Alabama it's entire life.  The truck is powered by the dependable and desirable 7.3 liter Powerstroke turbo diesel engine and automatic overdrive transmission.  The exterior of the cab is still in really nice shape.  It has had NO paintwork and has NO rust.   The paint is still very shiny and bright.  The hood does have a dent and chip where a chain broke and hit it.  PLEASE LOOK AT THE 90 PICTURES I HAVE POSTED BELOW.  I decided to list the truck with the hood as it is.  If you want to have the hood replaced, I can get it done for 350 dollars and add it to your winning bid.  Just let me know after you win the truck.  The bed is in nice shape.  It has no holes or rust, beyond normal surface rust.  PLEASE NOTE: I DO NOT HAVE THE TAILGATE.  You would either need to make one or purchase one if you need one.  The city used it for light loads and lost the tailgate years ago.  I can not find a name on the bed anywhere but the hoist is a Rugby HR520. It is rated to 9.9 tons on this 12 foot bed.  The interior of the cab shows very little wear.  There are no holes, tears or rips in the rubber flooring, vinyl bench seat or dash.  The truck has not been smoked in.  

I have had the vehicle inspected by a mechanic. He found it to be in good mechanical shape with only normal wear. I have had the filters, fluids and belts all inspected and serviced as needed.  The city took extremely good care of this truck and is shows.  It does not smoke, drip or leak.  The few places I could see that appeared to have leaked at one time, have all been fixed.  All the belts and hose are in good shape.  The truck shifts out solidly and smoothly with no issues.  The truck has no wobbles or shakes at 65 mph on the freeway.  It does have brand new tires on the front.  We then sent the truck to a front-end shop and had it inspected and serviced.  The truck has NO mechanical issues.  The bed works perfectly and has no issues.  All the electronic equipment works like new. The air conditioning is ice cold and the heater warm and toasty. There are just no known problems with this vehicle.  The pictures of the underneath show you the normal road dust and the fact that there is NO RUST. I will have this one detailed and awaiting the winning bidder. PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE IS SOME CONCRETE TYPE STUFF ON THE BED AND FRAME THAT WILL NOT COME OFF.  I will also be happy to pick you up at any local airport, just let me know when and where.
