Customized restoration, numbers matching vehicle. This 1973 911T Targa has undergone bespoke restoration and specification according to its previous owner's desire. The body customization was meant to convert the 911T to 2.7RS and includes a bare metal restoration with all work completed by Stoddard Porsche/Audi in Ohio. The customization and reassembly of the body took six months time and was completed in August of 2006. In addition to the body and panel work, all chrome was replated and all new rubber seals were placed throughout the assembly. Other new components include a new windshield, engine cover and grill. The targa top was restored by specialist Dan Petchel at Cars Inc. in New Jersey. The interior is composed of some vintage textiles and the fabrication on the doors and carpeting were all redone in 2006 at Cars Inc. Some interior upgrades include a 930S steering wheel and Recaro seats. The motor in this vehicle was taken out and rebuilt by Chris Moore at Autobahn Extremist and is to RS specs which is a 2.7L 6 cylinder putting 201 hp to the rear wheels. All new suspension components include steel and aluminum cross members, bilstein shocks and adjustable Weltmesister adjustable sway bars and bushings.
